When aliens misinterpret our signals from the 80s and send champions to earth to fight over whether to destroy it, of course you call on Adam Sandler and the boys to save it. Giant digital constructs of old games like millipede and Pacman manifest in real life and it takes arcade champion logic to take them down. The only drawback to this movie is it was too short. It would have interesting to see a few more arcade classics brought to life, but it was a great movie.

Typical Adam Sandler movie. Good comedy, unusual storyline, and a bit on the crazy side. The fact that it has some great references & lots of things from classic arcade games that I loved, makes this even better. With an unbelievable storyline but still keeps me interested is hard to do but this movie does it. Anyone with old school arcade game experience will love it. Very funny & makes you want to to break out the old school arcade games & start playing.

Though this is not one of Adam Sandler’s best movies out there, one cannot deny that this film is entertaining. For anyone who has ever played in arcades and played on the old Atari system, Pixels delivers the classics in a fresh light. So much so that even the younger generations can appreciate the concept of the movie and the games depicted within it.

This movie is not what it appears to be, my first thought was this was going to be another cheesy B rated movie. But after watching it I found it was actually enjoyable. Even the Boys (2 and 3 yrs) was kept entertained. Acting was pretty good considering its a comedy style movie. It's worth buying at around 15.00 maybe 20.00 but not much more.

this movie brought back so many memories of playing in arcades, trying to find and scrape up quarters to go to the arcade and playing for hours at a time. its has good humor, a child friendly message and a bit of twisted Sandler humor. all in all it's a good feel good movie. Must see if you are a fan sarcastic comedy and 80's video games....

I can understand everyone being a little hesitant to watch this based on Adam Sandler's past few releases but I must say this one is great. All the gaming references and music just fix perfectly and made this a surprise favorite that i didn't see coming. The metalpak is also beautifully done the colors really pop. Good fun for the whole family!

We love these comedy movies especially when they relate to something that many of us grew up with as children. I remember going to the arcade to play arcade games, because that is what you did as we didn't have the convenience of at home gaming systems like today. If you enjoy a little video game nostalgia and comedy you will enjoy this movie.

This isn't an oscar winner, but it's a lot of fun if you played any of the games in the movie. Space Invaders, Pac Man, Centipede, this movie makes me want to play them again. One of my favorite parts involves QBert bouncing on a trampoline. If you like 80s video games, definitely give this movie a chance, it won't disappoint.

Pixels as a movie is a mixed bag. It suffers from many a cliche and is predictable, like many of these types of movies. What really carries Pixels is the nostalgia factor and the great supporting actors. Peter the Dink Dinklage in particular. The visual effects work well, too! Pretty good flick overall. Steelbook case is pretty great.

While the movie may not be a classic like many of the video games it portrays, it was still enjoyable. I purposely try to get as many 3D movies on the market as possible since there are so few and this one did not disappoint. Very good 3D balanced out this being an Adam Sandler movie which tend to be very hit or miss in my opinion.

It's a typical Adam Sandler movie, which is why I love it. He plays the lovable looser who is the only one who can defeat the alien invaders. The invaders take the form of 80's video game characters which is a great nostalgic look back at all our favorite arcade games. If you like Adam Sandler, you'll like this movie.

This was not the most stellar movie in the world, but if you grew up in the 80s playing video games, you are going to love this movie. I knew when I bought this movie, it was either going to be really terrible and stupid, or it was going to have its moments and be funny. Lucky for me, it was the latter. I recommend this movie.

When this movie came out in theaters I actively avoided it because of the reviews and how people where talking about it. When it came out on Blu ray i decied to give it a chance becasue i had a few reward points to use. Man was i wrong for not wanting to see this at the movies. it is really funny. it remind me of some of the early adam sandler movies. yeah the plot is rediculous but so where all of the classic sandler films.

Bought this on a blind buy despite the poor critical reception and box office. Thought that movie was OK and not as bad as everyone says. Sure, it's faults are many but it wasn't a cheaply made piece of garbage as some prior Adam Sandler movies have been. Disc itself has very few special features but excellent video and audio

I reviewed bluray online. Liked what I saw. I ordered and paid for bluray online. Bluray was on sale so I bought it. I dont like spending more than $20 on a bluray...this one was under $20. Went to store to pick up bluray.stood in line for pick-up. 2 people in front of me store looked busy. 10 minutes later got my bluray.

Pretty good movie. Especially for those who grew up before PlayStation and XBox. I remember playing these games in arcades, restaurants and on my old NES. The movie is easy to watch and fun for the whole family. Yes Adam gives his friends and family roles for no reason sometimes but this time it works.

I definitely recommend this to anybody that grew up in the 80's like myself. Chris Columbus did a good job of reigning in Sandler. I ended up liking this a lot more than I thought I would. Great picture and sound. Haven't had a chance to check out 3D yet, but have heard good things about the 3D transfer from friends.

I did not like Adam Sandler's early movies, but he has really done a good job in most of his latest movies. Pixels could have been really stupid (and it had it moments), but it turned some moments around to be funny or even inspiring. If you remember some of the old video games, you will enjoy this movie.

I like this movie. Maybe because I love all the games portrayed in it, sure. But like any other Adam Sandler movie, its got some fun parts. This movie knows what it is and if you don't look for anything too in depth, you'll enjoy it. Get some popcorn and just have some fun.

First off If you hate adam sandler then be aware this movie has him in a lead role... But there are other actors that are not his usual group of friends and the whole thing is family friendly. If you grew up with video game arcades in the 80's the nostalgia feels are right there. But dont even scratch the surface a little if you do not want to sink in the total non sense of the plot. This movies biggest mistake is that it keeps breaking its own rules set out in the plot time after time. The addition of a fake game character as a love interest was terrible and not needed and provided a really weird and out of place mini twist at the end that served no purpose in any way. Shut off your brain ..watch some silly videogames attack earth action and forget the rest...I just could have been so much better.
