Disappointing.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The new CD is once again dark and dreary. Depressing. I figured that John Mellencamp would be relishing his age, wisdom and especially great memories he has had. But no...he seems like a depressed old man. Not the "live life to the fullest" rocker he once was. Yeah..we all have grown up...but I still can let loose and have fun. I miss the music and lyrics of his heyday. I'll go back and listen to Scarecrow and Uh-Huh to bring the smile back.
