Great movie. All time classic. Worth every penny for sure.

A must have classic for any movie collector. This is still to this day one of my go to films to watch during the Thanksgiving or Christmas. John Candy and Steve Martin at their best. If you haven't seen this film yet, do yourself a favor and check it out. I would say it's up there with the likes of other traveling/comedy buddy films like Tommy Boy.

Miss John Candy and Steve Martin is great also. Classic movie.

This movie never gets old. A true classic from start to finish.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles is a great movies to take out and play when you need a pick-me-up for a evening. And a real tear jerker at the end that I bet gets even the most hardy guy to sniffle. I have to believe at times that Steve Martin and John Candy worked some scenes without a script in that they are/were great actors. The movies great in itself that one has to remember how good John Candy was as an actor. Sorry to see that he is no longer with us to make us laugh with new material..

This is one the best holiday movies ever. Steve Martin and John Candy are the perfect pair traveling buddies. Total opposites in personalities make for a hilarious journey. Steve Martin is trying to get home in a winter snow storm. Everything he tries get blocked. Along comes John Candy, who's a traveling salesman and king of the road when it comes to getting from place to place. This is definitely worth owning.

Watching "P, T' & A" has become a T-Day tradition in our household. It's becoming a classic because the humor is timeless, the situations believable, and the interplay between Steve Martin and John Candy hilarious. OK, maybe a little unbelievable... :-) There are so many memorable lines and scenes from this film. Supporting cast members are terrific too. Dylan Baker as Owen steals the show. Edie McClurg and Micheal McKean shine as well in small roles.

A heart-warming tale from John Hughes about how to get along, or not, with others. Steve Martin and John Candy are a terrific pair that play off each other so well. When you feel tears welling up at the end, go ahead and have a good cry.

I miss John Candy. Maybe, if he had lived longer, he would have made a better one. However, he plays the role of Del Griffith, a national curtain ring salesperson who annoys Steve Martin's character. There are so many mishaps that it is hilarious. They bond through the trauma of trying to get from New York to Chicago by way of Wichita. Steve Martin did an excellent job, of course. He suffered most of the pain. Better than Uncle Buck.

Plane, Trains and Automobiles is a terrific comedy from John Hughes, filled with tons of laughter and heart. It's essentially a zany buddy/road-trip feature of two polar opposites learning to deal with each other's faults while trying to make it home for Thanksgiving. Steve Martin and John Candy star as the two clashing personalities destined to travel together, making this a wonderfully memorable holiday treat.

Old move in new format - great deal for the price.

I haven't seen this movie in a long time and when I saw it on display, I had to get it! John Candy and Steve Martin work great together and their chemistry is so spot on. It's funny, it's sad, and it also brings a smile to your face. John Hughes hits another home run with this gem!

This was a birthday gift for my son who lives out of state. I know he watched it on Thanksgiving because it has been a family favorite for many years - a tradition to watch as a family. I heard no complaints of the DVD not working properly so I am sure the tradition will continue for years to come.

Picked this up on Black Friday, appropriately enough, an incredible value for this wonderful John Hughes movie on Blu-ray, DVD AND Digital Copy! The extras are a little depressing, frankly, but happy to see that Paramount included the deleted scene, which was put back into the movie the last time I saw it on TV.

Steve Martin and John Candy at their best! This is a great movie for the holiday season as long as you don't mind some occasional (quite funny) swearing. This is a classic for baby boomers that like a silly comedy that also has a deeper, thoughtful, kindhearted, and happy ending.

Classic comedy with icons of the movies - John Candy (gone far too soon) and Steve Martin (very funny). I wanted this movie for so long and since most of my movies are in the cloud, this movie with digital copy, i had to have it. Also didnt hurt it was on sale for Black Friday

If you have not seen the film, it comes highly recommended. The discs included in this release could of had more effort put into them, instead we get the same discs released previously but this time in a must owned 2 disc hub SteelBook edition. Recommended for all SteelBook collectors and Steve Martin/John Candy/John Hughes fans (who probably already have a version of this film in their collection) but this one is shinier and classier.

In my humble opinion, Planes Trains and Automobiles is the best Thanksgiving movie of all time. John Candy and Steve Martin work so well together. And it looks wonderful in Blu-ray too.

I wanted this in my collection because it's so funny. What's even more funny was that what it took to get delivered, mimicked the movie,... it went from chicago, iowa, ohio, indiana, kentucky, missouri, back to kentucky, back to missouri, and finally to me.
