They get up close and personal with some fantastic video. Also, the price has really come down since the original series.

WOW! the footages are just amazing, particularly the island scene with the snakes and lizards, must buy if you have a 4K HDR tv!

Got this dvd to test our 4K uhd player and wasn’t disappointed. Only down side is that it’s a little on the pricey side

Great picture quality but seems a little underwhelming when compared to other 4k sources. Nevertheless, a great documentary.

After hearing great reviews from others, bought the high priced 4k DVD. Should have watched it prior. Video quality is excellent but somewhat lacking in audio. . Definitely would not have purchased it at the cost of $39.99. Would only recommend for the video quality , although subject matter is intriguing .

The DVD is kind of like the other "Planet Earth" movies only that it is in 4K resolution and very vibrant colors.

I got the 4K HDR, and the quality, although great, isn't mind-blowing. Some scenes look good, but most are just ok.

Purchased the DVD in 4K to see performance of my new 4K TV. I enjoyed the panoramic scenery but also wanted more.

My review is solely based on the price per content in comparison to Planet Earth 1 or Life. There are only 6 espisodes and does not come with digital content. The digit HD version on iTunes is only $20 for all 6 eps., which is a better option over the bluyray at the moment. Unless you are buying the 4K, wait for the price to go down or just get the digital version from iTunes.

Everything is so informational along with breath taking shots from all over the globe. A must watch!

nice unit but sometimes trouble getting it to work with universal remote...suspect it is operator error

I haven't had a chance to enjoy it in 4k yet but using a 4k player on an 1080p TV still looks gorgeous.

A little disappointed. Some are repeats of the previous series - or very similar to the prior contents.

Several hours of amazing uhd video of nature on 3 discs. Relaxing to watch. Amazing visuals.

Best photography and lots of new places and very close up of animals just like you walking with them
