I think any animal lover would love this DVD. Just make sure you get it in the correct format.

This does a good job of showing different locations and environments around the world.

The second installment of planet earth is good but not quite as great as the original. There are 6 programs and each is an hour long. Well really each is 45 minutes long with a 15 minute making of video at the end. Also, the 6th episode is for "Cities" which feels a little gimmicky. This just does not have the magic of the original.

The 2nd installment was good but disc 2 had malfunctioned since purchased.

Felt like the episodes were a bit short and not as much of the wildlife covered as one might expect to see from the various environments. My biggest downside was the lack of a digital version available with the purchase. Would have been nice to have it on my mobile device as well, without having to make a separate purchase.

Visually stunning. Entertaining film if you’re into nature documentaries.

My Sony 4k player set up and integrated well with my Sony TV. Great combination!

The first series is better by far. Still educational and beautiful to look at though.

I really like the earth series I also like that it is in 4k really good image.

the regular DVD and 4K and Blu Ray all look similar. no need to spend more on the higher quality for this movie since the picture is almost identical from the different formats. unless you have a good eye for the differences its not really worth the extra money for the high resolution picture

If you can get the 4K Ultra HD version, it's even better. Truly demo worthy.

A bit pricy but glad I could find it. Have not watche dit yet, used it as a gift
