This item is a must have for any 4k TV and 4K Ultra HD Blu ray owner. The camera shots and cinematography are stunning. The narrator, David Attenborough, is an icon in the field and you won't want to stop watching. There are 6 episodes that cover Islands, Mountains, Jungles, Deserts, Grasslands, and Cities.

Stunning visuals and you can learn a thing or 20. The things I have seen in these are things I would probably never have seen otherwise. Great for Kids and adults alike.

I was blown away by the amazing detail in the 4K version. Planet Earth has phenomenal nature video capture technology. They go where few others have been and record nature at its most beautiful. David Attenborough's narration really aids in the beauty of the presentation. Three disks in the set.

We tend to take nature for granted at times in today's connected world. This collection made me stop and think about how awesome nature is. I still wonder HOW they captured some of the scenes. It's just spectacular and makes you realize how much we need to appreciate the home we call Earth.

David Attenborough never disappoints, but you can start to tell that age, sadly, is catching up to him. The quality of the 4k recording is amazing, the stories in the documentary are highly engaging, and you cannot beat the overall entertainment that you get from this show. 10/10 would watch again!

Earth 2 is just as breathtaking as it was when I bought Earth on Blu Ray nearly 10 years ago, but with advances in remote filming and drone capabilities, in addition to the 4k resolution, everything is even more impressive than it was then. I would definitely recommend this if you enjoy nature docs.

This is a must of own if you've got a 4K Blu-Ray player and the TV to support it. The visuals are amazing. I'll admit I only bought this because I heard it looked really good in 4K HDR, but not being a nature documentary guy myself I really enjoyed all 6 episodes. I would definitely recommend it.

Feel as if you're amongst the many of gorgeous and wonderful locations around our planet, especially with 4K and HDR video. Absolutely stunning picture quality and sound. It will renew your appreciation for the precious ecosystems and the delicate balance needed for them to be sustained.

If you own a 4k Ultra HD TV, you owe it to yourself to pick this up. It is the one of the best (if not the best) looking videos you can show off with your TV. A lot of this has to do with the fact that most of the footage was shot with 4k cameras(there are some minor 1080p footage). Colors are vibrant and the the contrast with the dark and light are well executed, this all apparent thanks to HDR. Keep in mind though that despite how pretty this video is, it is still a nature documentary. David Attenborough's narration and Hans Zimmer's score definitely adds a lot of life to it, but if you're not into animal life this movie won't change your mind.

I got Planet Earth when I got my first blu ray player. This is the first disc I bought to try my new UHD player and 4K compatible projector. It looks amazing. Of course the content is amazing as well. Beautiful, impossible seeming images, wonderful narration. The best nature documentaries.

Get 4K! The picture is some of the most amazing things I've viewed on 4K yet. I don't know how they were able to capture all these amazing shots, but I'm glad they did. The image alone is enough to earn it 5 stars. The narrative is well done and very informative and helps keep you captivated.

The planet earth series to this day is one of the most visually impressive blu ray series I have ever owned, and this blew that away. Such a masterful job of filming. It was a joy to watch. I only wish it was more than 6 episodes

Wanted a really nice 4K disk to show off my new LG OLED TV. This is it! Extraordinary color and detail, especially when you turn on the HDR. The beautiful landscapes are amazing and almost three dimensional! You can see the texture in the animal's fur and feathers. A must have disk!

Planet Earth II 4K is the reason you buy a 4K TV and 4K media. It is an outstanding viewing experience. Planet Earth is an amazing learning experience. I love documentaries and I am glad to add this to my collection.

Excellent documentary by the BBC. Looks absolutely phenomenal in 4K UHD on a Samsung 65KU6300 TV and Xbox One S. Very stunning picture quality. I can only imagine how much better it would look for those with OLED/TV's that can take advantage of HDR and have a dedicated 4K UHD blu-ray player.

I already owned the original Planet Earth series so I was anxious to see the new series. This series is even better than anticipated. The video quality is absolutely amazing along with the places BBC visited that most of us would never see otherwise. This is a must have set for every family.

If you like documentaries about animal life and want to show off your new 4 TV this set is a must have demo disc set Note: some shots are a little on the little soft side but are not to distracting. Also this set is 4K discs only, no digital copy or standard blu-ray discs are included.

Top notch presentation that is also a showcase of what 4K and HDR do for a picture. Even my wife, who up until this point I wasn't sure was really appreciating the difference between HDR and not HDR, immediately noticed when we put in the special features disk and it wasn't 4K HDR.

Everyone on Earth should watch Planet Earth II. Stunning 4K Video. Love the way they break the movie down into parts. This movie is basically about animals adapting to the planet vs a movie about the planet itself in case you didn't know. This is one movie you MUST have in your collection!

We have finally finished the episodes, and I will say this looks better than anything I have thrown at my 4k HDR TV. Amazing colors and beautiful landscapes. The content is as good as you would expect from Discovery TV. This is a must buy if you even have a remote interest in the subject.
