When the first Planet Earth set cam out on Blu-ray it was my go to disc to show off my new TV with amazing and entertaining footage. Now that I made the switch to 4K Planet Earth 2 is the disc of choice again. HDR is amazing as well as the work that goes into creating this series.

The original Planet Earth was fantastic so I expected nothing less. I have a 4K display and bluray reader, and let me tell you it was so unbelievably beautiful and just jaw dropping. Just as amazing as the first, if not better!! Good job David A. And team!! 11/10 would buy for anyone!!!

If you're an owner of a 4k display with HDR, I highly recommend you purchase Planet Earth II as it's a great piece to show to anyone wanting to see what all the fuss is with 4k displays and the HDR capability brings it to a new level! Great series and even better on a dedicated 4k w/HDR!

After truly enjoying the original Planet Earth, Planet Earth 2 returns with new discoveries and even greater visual fidelity. You will not find a better 4K presentation for your home theater. Another amazing production from the BBC with another breathtaking dive into the natural world.

All I can say is wow. Night and day from 1080p. HDR really shines. This is Reference quality. The only thing that would of pushed this over the edge is if it was 60fps but that's nitpicking on my part. If you enjoy learning with the added benefit of amazing visuals, I highly recommend

Up to this point I have purchased quite a few 4k movies. I wasn't expecting to be blown away by this but wow! Major difference in video quality between this and a 4k movie. Perfect for showing off your new 4k television. Also, plenty of material to justify the hefty price tag.

This was the disc I used to gauge my new 4K TV and the results were simply stunning. The visuals were just absolutely jaw droppingly beautiful. It really makes you appreciate the beauty in nature. The 4K picture quality is alot more detailed and crisper than its 1080p counterpart.

I love this set, always been a fan of the series. It does seem like not all of the footage is in 4k but most of it definitely is and it looks great,. It also seems glitchy sometimes, not sure if i got a bad disc, may wind up exchanging after i write this but overall awesome purchase.

Pristine 4k footage that leaves jaws agape when I shoe this movie on my LG OLED. The HDR really pops and the resolution and detail is spectacular! Yet again it makes for informative and pleasing viewing, must own for anyone wanting to show off their home theater setup.

Tested my new LG OLED with this very set. BBC has outdone themselves. The shots and angles seem impossible. It almost seems to defy the title with the otherworldly environments. Each episode has a variety of locations and "cast" that comes together in a spectacular fashion.

Without a doubt, this is the best quality picture yet produced on UHD blu ray. The sharpness is great, but it's the color that truly makes it pop. This set is the best argument yet to get a HDR TV. It's unfortunately only 6 episodes, but they are all fantastic. Highly recommended.

I bought this based on a online review stating how this 4K blue ray was so gorgeous and they weren't kidding. This is a beautiful display of the full ability of your 4k player and 4k TV. This is the one that everyone needs to show your friends what is possible on a TV.

I got the 4K copy for my wife when I got our new 4K player. LOVE the look of it. We haven't seen all the episodes yet, but it looks Amazing. If you want to see what 4K can do, watch these. of course the shows are educational, but you will be blown away at how they did it.

The most beautiful nature video. It helps to understand how nice your 4K TV is. A must to get, narrated by David Attenborough. Go Earth!

I was amazed by the first Planet Earth, and the second has blown me away. The 4K resolution is absolutely stunning. You can really see all of the dedication and years of hard work that went in to producing such an amazing documentary like this. An absolute must see!

My first 4K blue ray on my new 4K OLED tv. In the same mold as BBC's earlier Planet Earth release this is an inspiring program to watch. True to BBC form for all nature programs, groundbreaking photography, narration and editing. Quality of picture top notch.

It goes without saying BBC has once again brought the most amazing scenes into our living rooms. With the internet and the fast paced lives we have now, we have something the family can sit and watch together. The way we used to. When the TV was the living room campfire.

Planet Earth II in 4K is simply stunning! The definition, razor-sharp resolution, lush colors and contrast make it feel as if your 4K TV were a window into the real world. This is a truly fascinating experience. The finest high-def disc in 4K I've ever owned.
