We bought the original Planet Earth on Blu ray, having owned it only on DVD. The difference in terms of visuals between the original and Plent Earth II is striking. All objects in both the foreground and background are clear and full of detail. This is a definite buy.

This content is nothing shy of stunning/amazing. The 4K content presentation is pure reference quality and the subject portions within the multiple 4K Blu Ray disks is among the bet available material to date. A must have for 4K viewers, and worthy of multiple viewings.

The first Planet Earth was amazing and this one kicks up up several notches. Not only is this amazing in 4k HDR, and can be used as a showpiece for your 4K TV, but this would also be awesome in 1080p. The camera work alone is stunning. Well worth the price of admission.

Stunning... The presentation, music, video editing, and of coarse David narrating makes this a must have for your collection. This made me a believer in 4k. Paired with a UHD player, I can't count how many times I was watching and just saying,"Wow" over and over again.

I really enjoy Planet Earth II in 4K HDR quality. The photography is outstanding, and the sound quality is wonderful in 5.1 system.

This was a gift for my sister in law who is disabled. I have the 4K version and have enjoyed it very much. We watched the Blu-ray version with her and the picture quality is great and my sister in law and her husband enjoyed it just as much as we did in 4K version

(Insert positive exclamation here) The 4K is amazing! The filming of new footage and remastering of footage that could be easily up-scaled has given us a masterpiece view of life on our planet. I own and enjoy the original, but the new one is really worth every penny!

Fantastic Purchase! Both the Ultra HD Audio and Video are unmatched on these disc. Each show was very enjoyable with scenes of amazing places. My wife and I love the narration by David Attenborough as well! This is a must buy if you have the Hardware for it.

I can't say enough about how beautiful these discs are. It looks better than the original broadcast. And as you would come to expect, the storytelling in these are at Masterful levels. If you're looking to show off your new 4k TV, this is the set for you.

Planet Earth Bluetooth was great, but Planet Earth II in 4 K is fantastic. When it come out on Netflix I will compare, but the clarity and color of 4 K is hard to believe. Too bad National Geograph Channel doesn't do stuff like this, instead of stupid reality tv. DA

These films are great for people of all ages, the best nature documentary around. I was a fan of the original planet earth series , and these follow ups are just as good , but with the added bonus of a perfect 4k picture ! This will standup to many future viewings.

This 2017 David Attenborough follow up to his original 2011 Planet Earth series really stands out since the original was only released in 1080i, and this one is in 1080p, and the quality really is apparent.

This is beautiful. If you like nature and animals in high quality resolution, then I recommend this. It’s worth the watch. And worth the money if you like this type of content.

I had watched Planet Earth on TV, bought the Blu-ray when it came out and was very excited about Planet Earth II. I was able to watch this as well on TV and decided to purchase as soon as it was available. Love the camera work and learning about different places.

If you've seen the first Planet Earth, you can understand the magnitude and awesomeness of Planet Earth 2. The pictures and video they can capture is outstanding!

I bought this right after I bought my new 4k hdr tv. These 4k dvds really are amazing. When you are watching them you feel like you are sitting in the nature scenes & the animals are right next to you. These are great for showing off what your new 4k tv can do!

I bought a new OLED TV and needed media that really shows the beauty of OLED. Every scene in this is reference quality.

I am a big lover of nature movies and this one is exceptional. I have the first and it was certainly a long wait for this second one. The newly hatched iguanas trying to avoid the snakes was a hoot. I have Bengal cats and watching the snow leopards was a treat.

The visuals on planet earth 2 are some of the best i have seen from the realistic blues on the water in HDR to the hairs on the animals skin with 3d depth and vibrancy 3 discs of reference quality 4k to impress anyone who you want to show what your tv can do.

This is why you buy a 4k television! You never witness nature with this clarity. I FELT LIKE i WAS NEXT TO some of these precious earth occupants . Not only was this second series informative it was an experience..what are you waiting for get this now.
