BBC did a great job of recording, although I would like to have seen more depth of field in several shots. At the end we said, "Is that all?" Even though it's fairly long, we wanted more.

I've already watched this half a dozen times in 1080p, but had to get the 4K HDR discs when I made the 4K upgrade. If you want to know how good 4K HDR can be, this is the show to watch.

Literally this is the best thing on 4K bluray - especially if you have a TV with HDR capability. Amazing footage. Even if you hate nature you can still appreciate how great this looks on a 4K tv.

I am a huge fan of nature documentaries. This is an incredible footage. Already owned the bluray copy, but can't resist not having the 4K either now I have a 4K tv. Definitely worth it.

My husband and I love this series. The picture is breath taking and looks like you’re there. Very informative & excellent way to get up close and personal to our wildlife and nature areas!

I couldn't imagine anything being better than the original Planet Earth, but Planet Earth II is stellar and an ideal program to demo the qualities of an UHD display and a surround sound system.

The 4K video shot in this Blu-ray is awesome highly informative about our planet and about animals I would recommend this to anyone who wants a visual effect with a lot of information

Five stars is not enough for either Planet Earth series. It is beyond disgraceful what humans have done to the earth...to steal from Carl Sagan...The Pale Blue Dot, the only home we'll ever know.

It's strange, because I know the events being depicted are real world events, but they're so incredible and epic they seem almost scripted (in a good way). It's gorgeous and amazing in every way.

Great disc to show off your new 4K TV. So realistic that I found squinting from the sun glare. You can count each individual hair on the animals backs. Great overall and entertaining doc.

Even better than the first one and the fact that it's in 4K makes it spectacular. It must've taken months to get certain three second shots. Hans Zimmer music is the icing on the cake Amazing.

The jaw-dropping movie over 7 episodes is awesome! If you like Planet Earth I, Earth II takes it to another level. Highly recommended, must buy! Plus on sales makes the deal even sweater.

Not sure if droppingly is a word but whatever. This is absolutely breathtaking! The colors pop and the detail is flawless. If you like the 1st Planet Earth you'll like this one 10x more with 4k!

I really enjoyed Planet Earth for its quality of photography when it came out in HD. I truly found Planet Earth II in 4K to be even better. Its a must see for anyone that loves nature.

If you haven't seen it yet, Google search the lizard vs snakes scene from planet earth. It is amazing. If you liked the first one you'll love this one. More solid work from the lane earth peeps

There is no better way to show off or see the capabilities of a 4k tv than with planet earth. There is a ton of content on the discs and all of the episodes are very entertaining and gorgeous.

Amazing visuals and lots of interesting information about our planet and the life on it. Recently upgraded to the 4K version which is even better but the BluRay is still very high quality.

Planet Earth two is amazing! Viewing this in 4K only makes it better. This is well worth the money from the visual to the narration. I wish all nature documentaries were filmed like this.

One of the best in the series. They are all great though. Hard to bet this one.

I bought this collection to test out my new 4k UHD bluray player and LG OLED TV, and it is an incredible experience. The footage is gorgeous and the commentary engaging. Highly recommended.
