Purchased the Planet Earth 6-disc DVDs for Irish son-in-law who lives @ the Gateway to the Australian Outback. He has enjoyed watching this epic documentary series.

Great cinematography and unique moments from all over the world caught on video

The amazing documentary Planet Earth is once again brought to life in stunning Blu-Ray, with digital surround sound and unparalleled HD quality. The packaging is nice as well, an individually-numbered plastic globe that opens to house the discs, which sit on foam on the inside. This set contains all original episodes, as narrated by Sir David Attenborough, plus the three 'Future' episodes, and several sneak peeks at other documentaries. Absolutely great quality for a great price.

I purchased as a Christmas gift for my son at a great price. It was half off about a week before Christmas. I personally have not had a chance to view yet but, I purchased on the advice of my nephew who had. My son is very happy with it. The packaging is very cool ( a globe). I would purchase again.

Great documentary, however, it had a defect in it. There was distortion through out it and when I exchanged it, that one had the same issue. Overall, not enough distortion for it to be bothersome. Also, I have the regular DVD version of this documentary and there isn't any distortion.

This is entertaining, educational and made a great gift.
