I actually purchased this for my grandson for his birthday. He just turned 14. He is so used to computer generated movie characters so I had to explain to him that these movies were made in the late 60's & early 70's so the characters were ACTUAL ACTORS in monkey suits and NOT like AVATAR characters. He likes these movies as much as I do.

This is an entertaining movie series. The acting is good, and the visual effects are good for when it was made. The twist it takes at the end of the first movie and then in the third are good.

This is a great collection for those wanting to get all of these great films in one package. The extras start off well with the first film and then quickly fall off for the rest, but overall this is a great value.

Fans of the 'Planet of the Apes' can't go wrong with this newly released box set featuring, for the first time, anamorphic widescreen transfers of all the films. Highly recommended to fans!

These are awsome, the movies are way better then the VHS video's. they even come with another dvd for behind the scenes/Making of.
