    Questionable Durability

Very good sound and easily connected and long battery life. The only negative and it’s a big one. The plastic curved headphone frame is/was not durable enough to withstand daily gym use and ultimately wore through and split.

I had disappointing results with other wireless headphones and was reluctant to buy another pair. So far I am glad I did. Good sound, pretty light but what I really like is that it audibly tells you they are on or off. My old pair would stay on and I'd have to recharge them constantly. So far I have only charged these once and have been using them almost an hour a day for 2 weeks and it's just now down to 50%. I use them on the elliptical, arc trainer and rower at my YMCA and they feel really good.

    Great Headphones

I've had these headphones for a little more than 2 weeks now. I wear them all day. At the gym for and hour. Then at work for 9 hours. Usually another hour and a half walking my dog. All on one charge. They are comfortable, sound great and they do stay on my head when I'm jogging or running. I do where a hat or beanie all the time, so that may help? A big factor for me is that they don't feel like a cheap piece of crap. Well made! I would buy againr and when talking to someone on it, everyone said it sounds clear when talking.

I liked my Backbeat Go set and was pleased overall with the Plantronics mindset, so when looking to upgrade for my workouts I found BackBeat Fit. They really are the perfect fit; great full sound, the battery lasts forever, and they're so comfortable that often after using them for a phone call at home I forget they're on my head and then I realize, oh! ha ha I'm walking around with my headset on. I'm so glad I got them and thank you to the sales team at Best Buy; you're the best.

I use earbuds/headphones for the gym. I've tried a variety of brands/styles over the years. So far this one is my favorite. The price point is amazing for what you get - durable, sweat proof, great sound and AMAZING battery life. I bought them a month ago, charged them up, wear them in the gym for 1-2 hours 3x a week and haven't had to charge them again! Battery says it's at medium right now. I know I've only had them for a month but right now looks like these headphones are keepers!

Although the BackBeat headphones are lightweight, they stay in place through even a fairly vigorous workout. The sound quality is excellent for headphones at this price point, and the Bluetooth connection with my phone has been rock solid. They're impervious thus far to sweat, and I couldn't be happier with them.

    Gym Headphones

I got these a while back and I want to say they lasted me close to a year and a half or close to two years. The sound is nice, good for a workout, the Bluetooth feature was helpful so as to not deal with cables during lifting. They eventually started to act up, I’m assuming because of normal wear and sweat while using them. If you’re looking for a cheap price and gym wearability, these are nice, but not something you could keep using over the years. If you want an investment I’d suggest paying for the higher price for that extra durability, that you’d get with pricier brands.

Having 8 different running headphones fail on me over the last 4 years, I decided to get something a little nicer, add Best Buy’s warranty, and hope for the best. So far, these sound great and the controls are easy to use. I chose these because they are specified as being sweat resistant, and I believe that to be the reason my last 8 headphones failed. I use these exclusively to run and I sweat a great deal. The only reason I didn’t give these a 4/5 is because the cups don’t completely go around your ears, and that causes me discomfort after 40 minutes of use. I don’t believe it would be any worse for longer runs however.

Outstanding !! Let me begin by stating I am a Senior with serious hearing deficit and cannot hear the TV without assistance. I had been using the Sony WH-CH500 for the last 1 1/2 years and was not happy with the sound quality, performance and lack of comfort -- they finally died. Looking at the Best Buy ads for something on sale I spotted the Plantronics - BackBeat FIT 505 on Sale. My experience with anything Plantronics has always been very satisfying so I figured for $50.00 let give it a shot. Unbelievable -- Really -- Great performance -- Easy to set up, Fully charged in under an hour out of the box and the best part -- I can actually understand every single word that's said on the TV -- Not so with the Sony's -- all I can say is I Thank God that the Sony's quit and that I found the Plantronics Headphones -- This is an amazing Deal -- Thank You Best Buy !

I wish the sound was a little more higher than what it is. It’s really easy to adjust on your ears and connect to Bluetooth. I love that the battery last for a long time, I love the battery life, can’t remember the last time I charged it and I spend about an hour 3xs a week in the gym. I love that it does shut out outside noise while working out, the only downfall is that they will come off if you’re doing sit ups, or any workout on the floor.

Very comfortable for long Zoom meetings. The speakers aren't overly loud. They paired pretty fast. They seem to hold a charge longer than the specs say. I wish I bought them 6 months earlier.

The Plantronics BackBeat FIT 505 was well worth the investment. I use it primarily for working out at home. I've had the headset for one month, and haven't had any issues in regards to battery life or any material defects. The headset stays in place, on your head and doesn't slide off when working out. It's also comfortable to wear, and doesn't hurt the ears after wearing for more than one hour. I also like that I can pretty much can go anywhere within my home without any sound interference. The battery life is also great. As indicated from the manufacturer, the 18 hour charge is pretty spot on. Overall it's a good deal. If anything changes within the next 30 days, I'll update this post.

This headset is great. Music is loud enough but could be louder. Holds a charge for more than 8 hours. I use these for the gym and I have a good amount of curly hair, that sometimes it slips off slightly due to sweat. I'm constantly readjusting to make sure they don't fall off. They do have adjustable heights to fit your head size. Simple connectivity. Calls are clear and can be heard by the caller.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from Plantronics in a music listening device. I know their products for office headsets and the sort, but for jamming out? I’d never tried their stuff before and figured I’d give them a go. In any case, the form factor on these headphones is okay. They don’t fold as nicely as the JBLs do, but you can put them in your jacket pocket if you like. The music output was okay, but not mind blowingly good. They tend to stay on your head fairly okay, but not as well as the head crushing JBLs. I mentioned the sound was okay, but it just wasn’t impressive enough for me. After trying so many other comparably priced headphones, I can say that some of my other acquisitions sounded better. I don’t hate them, but at about $100, I need to like them a bit more than I did. I ended up returning these as well.

Purchased these to wear while jogging and overall I am happy with them. They are light and provide good flexibility. No issues pairing to an old iPod or a newer cell phone. Battery life so far is as listed. My only critique to these is that the bass response isn't great. For me that hasn't been an issue since these are workout headphones.

Previous non-sport headphones kept breaking. Sound good, connect good, battery life good. The material of Backbeat‘a headband does feel more durable and capable of withstanding more use than previous headphones that I owned and that would broke over a short period of time, few months...
