Ok. Not great.

The biggest dislike is it allows too much outside noise in while listening to music. Also the battery doesn't last long.

Our BackBeat FIT is designed to allow you to hear outside noise in order to let you stay aware of your surroundings during outdoor activities or while exercising. If you prefer a headset that reduces external noise we recommend that you consider our BackBeat Go 3 and BackBeat Pro.

The earpieces are not flexible enough and the unit itself is too stiff and uncomfortable to do active exercise without dislodging. A totally poor waste of money for a product that doesn't come close to the beats my son took and I now will buy another pair for myself while this unit sits in the box it came in unused and unusable. A really bad buy at any price.

Thank you for your honest review and feedback on our BackBeat FIT Bluetooth headset. When we design a specific headset we aim to accommodate around 80-90% of different ear shapes and sizes but unfortunately one size (or in this case one style) doesn't fit all.
If the headset is uncomfortable to wear, feels loose in your ear or just seems like it'll fall under normal usage we do recommend trying a headset with a different wearing style (over the head or in ear). We will forward this feedback to our product managers for consideration when developing new devices. Please don't hesitate to contact us at www.plantronics.com/support if you require assistance.

Stoped working after 2 years

After using these headphones for about 2 years for running and General exercise, I began noticing shorter battery life (< 1 hour ) and the headphones would cut out and turn off at times. They were great headphones when they worked but didn't last very long compared to cheaper and ever nonsports ear buds.

That may be an issue with the headset or with the connection between the headset and phone. You might want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection between your phone and headset to see if that helps the issue. To do so, 1. Delete the headset from your cell phone's list of paired devices. 2. Once deleted, power your phone completely off, then power it back on. This resets the Bluetooth stack in the Bluetooth software on the phone. 3. Re-pair the headset with your phone. and test. If the reset doesn't help we can replace that device. You can use the following url to view our replacement info. http://www.plantronics.com/us/support/kb/detail.jsp?vfurl=/articles/en_US/Warranty/RN9669&retURL=%2Fapex%2FknowledgeSearch®ion=us&p=&c=All&k=replacement&t=All&lang=en_US&popup=false&c=All

I bought these after my second pair of powerbeats2 wireless broke for the same reason. I took the headphones out of the box hoping to use the during my workout and to my surprise they did not turn on. I plugged them for hours but they never charged. I exchanged them for some jabra headphones.

I've had these less than 2 years. Low usage on them. They no longer will charge. Worked great when they worked. Very disappointed that a $150 set of headphones didnt even last 2 years. Will not buy plantronics ever again.

I bought these on sale. The cord bounces around while you run and they kept falling out. Very annoying. Will not purchase again and definitely don't recommend!

Most of our products are designed to fit 80-90% of different ear shapes and sizes. While we consider this design and style to be our best one available for outdoor activities like running or jogging we suggest trying a different wearing style in case this one does not feel secure or comfortable in order to see which one feels better.

Great wireless for your ears!

I own the Bose QC 20 and QC 35. Tried countless pair of earphones and earbuds. It's difficult to find a balance of good sound with decent bass and functionality. I took a gamble on these because I heard issues with weight inbalance with other earbuds that have the battery built into the remote usually on the right side, when you turn it gets caught. These do not have the problem because it's a solid piece that wraps behind your head.
The are extremely comfortable I was kinda shocked. The sound quality is a 4.5 with a good balance of low-high and bass. Your not going to get incredible bass on any in-ear wireless buds without compromising weight and battery. These will stay in your ear through out your workouts and the volume is plenty loud. If you always wonder if Plantronics can really make it in the Active Audio market.. They have. I heard of people saying they die after a few uses but that's what the warranty is for. No technology is rock solid otherwise there would be no need for warranties.

I had been dying to get a pair of wireless headphones and debated getting these solely because of how expensive they are! Worth every single penny ! I was scared that they would not fit my small ears properly, but these headphones you can adjust the buds position so it can fit snuggly. They definitely stay firmly in place. I had done cart wheels with them, jumped over chairs, push ups, sit-ups, front flips... you name it and they don't move at all!! Sound quality is great! great for calls if driving. I highly recommend these!!

These headphones were not for me. The headphones hurt my ears, would not stay in my ears and for the price these were not worth it. I would have been better off with a cheap set of headphones.

Thank you for your honest review.
Usually we recommend our customers to try a headset for a few days to see if they get used to a certain wearing style and fit, but its too uncomfortable to wear we'd definitely recommend considering a headset with a different wearing style like our BackBeat Go 3, BackBeat Pro or BackBeat Sense.

Thank you for your honest review.
Our BackBeat Fit is designed to allow you to hear your surrounding noises for security and awareness while running outside. If you require a headset that blocks background noise and allows you to hear your music better without distractions we would strongly recommend you considering our BackBeat Go 3 instead.

Simply gets the job done!
Very comfortable ear pieces that do not feel too tight but also do not fall out of place even w activity.
Noise cancelling is not as profound as its BackBeat Go (which I previously owned), but still good.
Battery life is excellent.
Given that it has more buttons, the commands are simpler to execute than in the BackBeat Go.
The microphone is pretty decent but could be better. Room for improvement there.
