This is the second Plantronics Rig headset I've bought. I also own the Xbox version. It is well constructed, lightweight, and comfortable on the ears and head. Basic controls, mic mute, noise isolation. Reviews tend to overcomplicate a headset. This is a very good and well designed accessory. While it is about $50 more expensive than I would have liked the comfort and sound quality was worth it when compared to others..

Battery holds a long charge headset is comfortable and sound quality is surreal. Definitely recommended

I work in the graphics industry and am very familiar with Plantronics headsets due to the design work I create for them. This PS4 wireless headset is the best upgrade to your surround sound gaming you can get for the money. I picked up mine on sale for $130 which saved a good $50. The only complaint with PLT products is the lack of deep base.

This is the beat headset I've ever purchased. Lightweight, durable and awesome sound!

I bought these along with a pair of A50 astros for mainly xbox one. I hooked up the Rig to my xbox and they worked flawlessly. I since have used them on my pc as well. This headset is very comfortable and sound great. I think the volume could be a little higher but it is enough for most applications. The mic is also very clear to others.

Previously had the playstation golds, the earpieces started coming apart and leaving black fake leather pieces everywhere. These are very light and have very good sound and can be worn for a long time without being uncomfortable. The boom mic is awsome, no guessing if it's on or off.

Haven’t had any problems since I bought it. Sound quality is great and it charges pretty fast. Might be a bit pricey but it’s worked fine for me. A friend of mine bought it too but his mic broke so I suggest being careful when you are done using it.

OK!!! I’m going to start off by saying I’m a true GAMER... 24hr gaming sessions.. been playing games my whole life.. now I’m a PS4 gamer and a PC gamer.. REAL HEAVY.. headset.. TERRIBLE MIC Astro a40Tr.. great headset.. great MixAmp.. sound quality great.. mic is TERRIBLE.. Also on PS4 the MixAmp echos in party chats.. if you don’t believe.. just do a quick google search and come back.. Turtle beach elite 800.. great all around headset.. battery life fades.. VERY EASY TO BREAK...buttons on ears are touch sensitive.. not very loud.. Hyper cloud revolver S.. TERRIBLE FOR PS4.. No chat and game mix AT ALL.. literally TERRIBLE..DONT BUY FOR PS4 Razor Thrasher $250.. So now we get to the RIG 800HS First foremost.. a sturdy headset.. very comfortable.. especially for my big head.. mic is EXCELLENT.. easy to use up or down mute.. SIMPLE.. just like the A50 Game Audio/Chat mix.. IS PERFECT AND SO EASY TO DO.. right on the ear.. small little nob.. most of the other headsets don’t even have this or let you do this in the PS4 party settings.. THIS IS A MUST.. 100% WIRELESS.. BUT.. you CAN CHARGE WHILE YOU PLAY.. JESUSS CHRIST THANK YOUUU.. it is the same cable you use to charge your controller.. WOW.. AMAZING.. 4 equalizer settings.. at a touch of the button on your right ear.. all pretty decent.. .. Doesn’t have 7.1 or any of that stuff.. But nowadays.. that is just a selling point headsets use to sell.. not that important if you have headsets like this that can do all of that.. I’m going to give you the honest truth.. Very user friendly. No app to download. No blue tooth connection issues. Very comfortable on your ears. Long battery life. I exchanged the turtle beach brand for this one because the turtle beach kept unpairing from the receiver and was too hard to pair day after day.

Purchased these at the recommendation of a friend after my Turtle Beach headsets broke in the same way they all do (the band across the top). These are probably the most expensive gaming headsets I’ve purchased but the quality is quite noticeable. These feel really nice on your head for hours on end and the audio/mic quality is top tier. It’s so easy to mute your mic by sliding the boom all the way up, you also get and audible alert when you’ve muted yourself. These will even work with PS5 but you do lose the ability to use the game/chat slider on the earpiece. You can still adjust the game/chat mix via the PS5 console settings though. After owning these I will never purchase Turtle Beach always defective headsets again!

This headset was for my son. He loved this headset for gaming on his PS4. He really likes these for playing games. The sound is better than the Turtlebeach headset. He likes the microphone pickup much better as well. The fit was comfortable.

Very good sound quality at an affordable price. The headset is comfortable and snug. Overall, one of the better headsets for the cost.

the sounds is great and they get loud, there is even 4 EQ settings. It hooks up easy enough, but the party/game rocker switch does not work with a party like I thought it would. It may work with in game chat, I haven't tried that, but if you set up a party the sound levels are not separated, which is the reason I bought them. The battery life is fantastic, but I really wish I could adjust the party and gave level to get the right mix.

Great headset to play with surround sound really helps to pinpoint where those other guys are sneaking up on you from. I0 didn't realize when I bought them that the wireless hooked up to the IR port, but the response time and directional quality are outstanding. I had to learn how to configure my sound settings so that I can hear when I am not using them and then reconfigure when I do. That is really the only downside. Not sure if these work with multiple players on the same console?? Only one IR port in back of the PS4 pro, and the settings don't reflect the use of multiple sound channels. These might just be useful for single player type action. Thus only 4 stars this time.

The surround effect is pretty well done and hookup is very easy.

Very comfortable & sound great! They feel and sound as good as many of my studio headphones. I will have to put some hours on them to know the whole scoop as far as quality & longevity but so far so good.

Great bass!! They are so comfortable to wear although look a little big. But they do sound pretty awesome the only thing that sounds a little off is the mic but other then that this is a great pair of gaming headphones!

Great battery life, great sound quality, only thing is they feel breakable but I tossed them on the couch many times and they are holding up nicely.
