I originally bought this for my nephew to play because he loves PvZ and PvZ 2, but oddly enough I found myself playing it more than he does. It is a good mix of third person action with multiplayer elements/game modes that remind me of Battlefield. Garden Ops is a must play for any fan of Gears Horde Mode or CoD Zombies/Survival.

I bought this game because my daughter always wants to play with me. It's a fun game and definitely child friendly!

A new take on the first person shooter. the only problem I have with it is that you must have Xbox Gold to play.

This is the type of FPS that you can play with your young children. Very unique. Already pre-ordered PVZ GW2.

My kids love this game. They often play with friends online. The game has a lot of color and really pops from the screen. One of the few games I have found available on this platform for kids.

First off, the game has about zero gameplay in common with the original. This is a online only, 3rd person multiplayer. Nice change from all the FPS's that you usually assc. with online deathmatch style games. Good game overall, worth the $40.

I purchased this game given I was a fan of the Plants vs Zombies for mobile devices, and this game is very fun! I have probably played about 8 hours of it so far and will be playing much more. There are many different game types (such as a team-deathmatch mode, a capture-the-flag type version, etc) and unlockable player features (weapons/appearances/etc) along the way. Although this game is great, I probably would not pay close to $50 for it. I managed to get my copy for ~$25 which seems more reasonable for this type of game. Note that this game does NOT have a single player campaign feature - only a multi-player gameplay mode and the option to do a local 2-player mode.

My grandson absolutely loved this game! Great game full of fun-loving zombies and plenty of options.
This review is from Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare - PRE-OWNED - Xbox One

It is easy to play. I like that multiple players can play at once.

The game play is decent. My younger son wanted it to play. I didn't read the box and should of. I would have thought you could just play a story mode or something by yourself but you can't. You can fight off waves of Zombies but that gets boring fast. You can not play as a Zombie either unless you play online on Xbox Live. Kind of disappointing.

The only first person shooter I have found that is age appropriate for my daughter. She loves the customizable characters and the game action is as tame as a shooting game can be.

This game is a way to let the kids have fun with a shooter type game without the violence of a lot of todays games. Adults will enjoy the multiple unlocks this game offers and several different characters to play as. The $40 price tag is not bad and well worth it.
