    Purchased this as replacement for daughters kindle fire. She tends to be rough on electronics, Chargers and cables included. This cable has been great! The light is a nice touch to remind you when it is pluged in and charging tablet.

    The light really helps at night when trying to find your charging cable and where the USB slot is on your phone. It can be a bit bright at times if not actually plugged into a phone but I normally just let the cord drape to the bottom edge of the bed or dresser and it dims the lights reflection.

    This charger works great for charging my phone overnight. The light in the end of the charger comes on when you touch it to plug it in and in the dark makes it very easy to get my phone plugged in without waking my wife by turning on lights.

    Having the lighted tip makes the cable an excellent buy. If there's no light, then no power is getting to device to be charge. The cable is also of sufficient thickness to prevent easy damage. Given the price, I'd encourage all to buy it.
