The Platinum polarizer does it's job perfectly...glare is gone, colors are popping and the sun is shining. The threading is perfectly machined and threads in effortlessly.

    Cracked!

I attached the filter to my 55mm lens and it immediately “stripped” itself and now spins on my lens with no visible way of removing it from the camera! Also, I just returned from a 10-day trip with heavy usage and noticed that there is a slight crack that has developed on the filter. It isn’t even 2 months old! Poor quality and a definite waste of money!

This takes great pictures on the water. We can't wait to use it in the Bahamas.

Blown out highlights at both ends. Not all CPs are created equal. Spend more and get a quality filter

    Polarizing lens?

I was told this lens was good to keep out the glare from sun without losing the light. I bought it on store recommendation and I am not happy with it. It does not reduce that much light, it only darkens the photos and destroys the color, maybe I am doing something wrong, but not worth the money.

    Excellent filter from Best Buy!

Excellent "House Brand" circular polarizing filter from Best Buy! Sure, sure, I could have ordered a Tiffen or Hoya from Amazon, or stopped down at the local camera store in town, but I saw these on the rack at Best Buy and decided to buy one. $27 bucks? Seriously? That's it? The clarity is amazing for the price! Works like a charm, does not get all hung up in the threads of the lens. Overall it is an excellent CPL for the money!

When you use full zoom in or out you can not get sharpness, there is no way to get focus.
