The Platinum 58mm UV filter was perfect. No problem with the threads on either end. I've experienced that before. More importantly, there is no shift in my color or b/w photos.

This was a good quality UV filter for a zoom lens that I had failed to get a filter for. Best Buy came through on vacation and had the size I needed. It fits and does it job. That would be a good recommendation.

Works as advertised. Nice storage case and easily screws on and off. I did use it on a sunny day and did notice a slight difference in picture quality. Also protects camera lens. I’m sure other brands perform similarly but why pay twice the price for a name brand when this does the same thing.

After purchasing a new Canon T5 digital camera bundle with 2 lenses and camera case, There is no better way to protect those expensive lenses than with a Platinum 58mm UV protected lens cover to protect and to filter in perfect lighting for those perfect digital pictures and videos. It's a great protective filter/cover!

Great item. Quality as expected. Definitely useful for my camera!

We bought while on vacation, as I purchased a new camera before I left. I wanted something to prevent ocean mist in the air from getting the real camera lens yucky. Seems to do the job, a lot less risk, using a filter as insurance as not to scratch the lens.

Definitely worth the peace of mind to get this lens filter to protect the camera lens! Easy to use and the camera’s lens cap fits over it perfectly. Easier to replace this filter than the actual camera lens if it gets damaged—highly recommend!

Uv lens filters are essential in maintaining a scratch free camera lens. This one also filters out haze for a cleaner picture. I have a UV lens filter on all my Nikon lenses. Much cheaper to replace a scratched filter lens then to repair a scratched camera lens ( especially Nikon)

Bought to help protect the lens on my camera, especially at work. It was a great buy. Easy to install, and is clear when taking photos.

Bought both my daughters Rebel T7 cameras. These are put on the lenses to help protect the lens from scratches and the suns rays. Good investment when spending lots of money on a camera

Works great as a UV filter. Well made and can stay on the filter with minimum impact on pictures other than overloading uv conditions.

Purchased this to put on my kit lens when I picked up my 90D. These filters offer no enhancements in image quality whatsoever and are ONLY good to protect the outer element of your lens. So this was a good buy.

I've only taken a few pictures with this filter so I can only say I see a difference in my pictures. Only thing is that you can no longer use the cap cover...but your camera lens is protected.

Anytime I buy a lens for my camera, I get one of these specifically to protect the glass on the lens. Even if you don't use filters for your cameras, at least get a clear one to keep the actual lens as clean as possible and to give it a layer of protection. One for every lens I have.

This is the best way to protect your investment in your lens! The filter is cheap, the lenses that are protected are not! I dropped a camera case and the result was a shattered filter - not the lens! I purchased a replacement ASAP! I recommend this for all your lenses (I have all of mine protected with UV filters.)

Filters do two things, it protects the lens from scratches, and it does that perfectly and it filters the light. My favorites are UV and Polarizing filters. I've bought one of each from Best Buy and very happy with the results of both. I'll be there again for my next filter soon as I need one.

I need to play catch-up on my filters. I just started purchasing them with each new Canon lens that I buy and now I need to back track and buy filters for my prior Canon lens purchases. Not only does the lens filter out the UV rays so your pictures will look amazing but it also protects your lens from scratches.

I use this filter to protect my lens. I appreciate that it is multicoated which helps to reduce halos in photos. This one was actually to replace one that I broke when my camera was dropped accidentally. The previous filter did its job and protected the expensive lens.

Bought this filter as a lens protector. I rather replace a damaged filter than replacing a damaged expensive lens. Helps in protecting lens from being scratched.

When taking photos on a sunny day using my Canon T6s with the Canon 55-250mm lens I was getting a lot of haze in the photos. After a little research I found that using a circular polarized lens filter can reduce or eliminate the haze and reflections. I purchased the Platinum 58mm Circular Polarized lens filter at my local Best Buy and wow what a difference. The filter did clear up the haze and it also made a very noticeable difference in the clarity and color brilliance. It's a must have if you shoot landscape photos.
