The idea of a UV filter is that is should be invisible, yet there as protection. This filter seems to fit the bill. I've had no problems and no negative effect on the photos.

This helps a lot with chromatic error reduction. Plus it's just useful for protecting the lens. I might have to get some extra and upgrade to some with polarized lenses

This is really helpful to main camera lens. My camera got bumped once with this lens but lucky i was having this UV filter.. otherwise i will damage the lens.. this saves your big expense.

A UV Haze filter is an essential piece of equipment to go with any camera lens. Go ahead and scratch this $30-40 filter and not your $250 or more lense. I have one on every lens I own!

This filter does what it is supposed to - keeps the sun out. I truthfully don't see a lot of difference in it and others, but it was a good price and is still being used.

The Platinum UV filter fits onto the front of the camera lens. It is easy to screw into the lens threads.

Every lens should have one of these on it. Not only will it improve your photos but it offers great protection for your lens. Better to break this than your very expensive lens.

Fits my canon lenses 18-55mm, and offer protection at the same time

The filter was a little tricky screwing on but once attached it was very secure. It is easy to clean and i saw no deterioration in photographs from tge addition of the filter.
