You should always purchase a neutral density lens filter to protect the lens glass. Better the filter to get a scratch than the lens. You can still mount other filters on top of it for effects. It also rotates for visual effects for control.

Very good VND but does show the X if you turn it outside the max/min range. I wish it had the stopping feature at the max/min point like some other VND filters I’ve tried, since this does require you to look at the filter to make sure you don’t go over the limit. But for the price point it’s a very good filter.

Works good, I like how easy it is to adjust the filters. Believe it or not the case is the hardest thing to use lolZ hard to open.

If you shoot video and want to put a shade on so you can create awesome depth of field this is the ND filter for you. Just make sure you do not love the adapter ring.

I just purchased this filter to work on project, love the fact that it's a variable lens so that gives me the ability to only purchase one ND and create several outcomes with my camera.

Solid Lens Filter for users of any level. Good price too.

I feel this filter could be a little better. If you try to use the darker settings, you end up with a dark “X” in your images. You also will see a dramatic vignette at shorter focal lengths.

For the price I have no complaints. It’s come in very useful not only for long exposures, but also portrait sessions where the sky is blown out.

Does an excellent job at slowing down the shutter speed to get that great flowing effect in water shots and for trail effects in moving light for land/city scape shooting.
