This case feels great in my hand and not slippery. I attached a pop socket on the backside upper portion of the case and it works great!

I've used the Platinum (Best Buy's internal brand) holster/case for years, through three generations of iPhone plus some Androids, and it has been rugged and convenient. Unfortunately, with the XS generation, they have substantially cheapened the design and made it unusable. I'm really disappointed. The old versions all had a hinged, spring-loaded clip at the top of the case to hold the phone in, and the holster portion of the assembly didn't curl over the top of the phone. Now the clip is just part of the holster plastic (no hinge/spring), and the holster portion wraps over the top of the phone. So where you used to be able to release the phone from the holster by pulling up the clip with a curled pointer finger and tipping it out of the holster with your thumb, you can't do either of those now. The new design makes it extremely awkward to remove the phone from the holster because no matter how you pull up on the clip, there's nowhere to get a finger on the phone to tip it out. I think they intend you to pull it out from the sides without touching the clip, but that means the clip is much weaker than the old hinged/spring-loaded design. I'm going to try cutting off the top of the holster with a dremel tool to fix the wrap-around problem. I think at that point the new clip might be workable, but who wants to have to cut up a new $40 case just to make it usable? Really bummed that they screwed up what was such a well-engineered and convenient product.

This case is very sleek yet is virtually indestructable! I’ve dropped it several times and even on roughest surface, it only produces a slight scratch on the case. The kickstand is the star of the case though. If you use the phone for movie watching, reviewing work documents on it, or any other long term viewing, the kickstand is perfect for you! Only caution - stand won’t work vertically, only horizontally.

I love this case. Love the feature of the kickstand. High quality material, and you don't get the nicks and scratches like other cases. At first, I didn't care for the two piece design, but you really don't notice it. Also, it won't come apart on you as it has click taps to keep it together, The best thing I like about it, is that its tight enough on the perimeter of the phone where it doesn't allow dirt and crud to enter and get on the backside of the phone. Hated that about the older generation covers. Highly recommended.

Well made. Easy to slide on and great fit to my iPhone XS Max. I purchase this model because it comes with a holster (my preference for carrying my phone). Unfortunately, this is my second purchase of the same model since the belt clip broke on the first one. I'm rough on the holsters so it wasn't totally a build quality issue, but I do feel they could make it stronger. Built-in kickstand is a nice feature which I use all the time. No screen protection, but that's my preference since I already have one. I have dropped the case several times on hard surfaces and it provides adequate protection to phone edges, etc. No damage to phone. I will look for this brand again when I upgrade phones.

This is hands down my favorite brand of cases for any phone. The case has protected every iPhone I’ve ever owned which is why I keep purchasing the case every time I get a new iPhone. The case has a nice kickstand on the back so you can prop it up and catch a quick show or movie on Netflix or iTunes. And the holster is the added plus since it allows you to either hold your phone vertically or horizontally.

Mainly purchased this since I needed a quick case to outfit the new iPhone XS Max but also have grown accustomed to its superior holster. Easy to pop in and out and fits in the pocket rather nicely. The problem with this case, is the actual case part that fits on the iPhone. Weird design decision that I particularly didn’t care for. Instead of being uniform the upper and lower parts of the case jut out. When you see you will see what I’m talking about. I like a uniform look and this one leaves a lot to be desired. It’s ok and serves it purpose and will protect your phone.

I’ve been using Platinum cases and kickstands or Seidio Surface equivalents, which seem identical (I suspect Platinum OEMs Seidio), for several years now. Primary reasons are that they include a kick stand, include a holster which I use rather than keeping my phone in my pocket, and they’re very protective on all sides. The feel of the materials is also very comfortable.

The kickstand is great for watching movies or Netflix on your phone and the case has a second clip on that is Convenient when you don’t have pockets, but also works as a stand too! This stand is used for a better positioning of the phone to better watch whatever you want! The overall case is brilliant I love it!

Works just fine for me. I don’t use the belt clip holster because the spring always seems to break on those things. I have a leather holster that holds the phone. I love the case for the kickstand feature. It doesn’t have a screen protector but the edges of the case are raised so the phone won’t fall flat on the screen. Feels smooth and solid.

If you're looking for a holster style case for you phone, look no further. Great features, great protection, reasonably low profile. Both the case and the holster have kickstands that can be used to keep the phone upright to watch. I have this on an iPhone xsMax and I can keep this in my front pocket and be comfortable most of the time. One note, this case is a little bit on the heavy side, so not a great choice if you're looking for something lightweight, otherwise great choice.

The Platinum case is only offered through Best Buy and if you need a case with a Clip this is the slimmest and best protection u can get without carrying a BRICK around. It is somewhat on the heavier side but in comparison with the other options it will be the least bulkiest...

Not my first Platinum case. It is very thin, and their is no screen protection(I have a Zagg screen protector on). I have not had any issues. Holds my phone very securely on my belt. I also like the fact that there is a built in stand on the back of the case.

The phone case is great for protecting the back and sides of the phone, the case is slim and comes with a belt holster. This case is much slimmer than an Otterbox case which is why I like this case. A screen protector can be used with this case as well.

This is the 4th clip/case combo I have purchased from Best Buy. It is well made, fits and protects my phone well and most importantly for me (especially for work) it has the holster. Will definitely purchase again when I upgrade next year.

This case protects the phone in a drop, is very slim adding so little you can still put the Xs Max in your front pocket, allows all charging cables, but you can still charge wirelessly in the case and has a kickstand to boot! Love it

This is an excellent case that comes with a holster. Both the case and the holster comes with a kickstand, allowing you to set the phone vertically or horizontally. Which is really neat, I highly recommend it.

This case protects my phone very well. It has a lot of chips now from dropping on concrete and asphalt, but not on my phone. The kickstand is perfect for watching on the phone!

I always get the platinum iPhone cases for my phone. The reason is because it has great protection with the thinnest case with a stand. Very durable and practical cases. I wished they had color options.

Case fit the phone well and allows access to all the button. Wireless charging is a hit or miss and not a major concern. I wish it came with a screen cover and the stand on the back was a bit more sturdy. The snap in case is sturdy but the snap is to easy to pull out and then catch on clothing or other items.
