I remember first getting this case a few years back with an older Samsung and I loved it! Even though not as tough as an Otterbox, I liked that it was not as bulky. I was really disappointed though when the belt clip broke on my recent purchase. I'm willing to believe that I bought a defective one..I hope

It is nice and slim and also had a kick stand to prop it up

I have a ranch and a job that is hard on phones. I have dropped my phone many times ,sometimes off the back of a horse. my phone has not gotten a scratch on it. I am sure that if I did not have it my phone would have a broken screen by now or worse a broken phone

I have purchased 2 of these for my last two phones and when I trade the phones in, they look brand new. I would definitely recommend this case. I am a plumber and it takes a lot of abuse.

I had this cover for my note 5 & had no issues. I like the cover & stand. I upgraded to the note 8 & got the same cover because of the stand & my previous had handled being dropped a few times. However, the new one being dropped didn't close correctly after a small drop.

Honestly it's a decent cover. I just feel the 2 secciones don't click together well, therefore I'm always having to push them back together again. The kickstand is nice but only works in landscape.

This case protected the phone, but lost the grip to keep the two halves together. Wife ended up putting a piece of tape or stickers to help keep together.

Love the design with the stand on both the holster and case, just wish the clip for the holster was a bit more sturdy. Mine broke when I was on my side under the desk plugging in my printer. Wasn't much force on it.

I've tried way too many holster cases only to have the belt clip break off in a short time. I purchased one of these cases for my Note 5 and was impressed so much that when I got the Note 8 I bought the same case for it.

The case can come apart if impacted by something. It's good for a start and the kickstand is nice to watch movies but for a case that suppose to protect your phone it separates to easy.

I own one and bought 2 more on clearance. It does the job of protecting the phone but......1) It's pretty bulky. 2) The belt clip/kick stand will break within a year where the spring/hinge is.

Tough and smooth. The clip on the top means that you can't slide the phone out of the top. You need finger to hold the clip open and another hand to pull the phone forward out of the holster.

This case provides great protection, provides easy mount and dismount from the belt holster and comes with a built in metal (not plastic) kick stand.

I've broken 3 of these cases, but I continue to buy them because they are light weight and not bulky. The problem I've had with them is the clip keeps breaking on me.

No other smart phone case can offer all that I need but this one from Platinum. It has a belt clip that rotates to any position on the belt, it easliy clips on and off the belt clip, it has a kick stand for horizontal viewing, the case comes apart easily enough so you can put your phone in the Samsung 3D viewing goggle and most important the protective case is thin enough to use on the Samsung wireless charger. Great engineering Platinum! The perfect smart phone case at a reasonable price.

The actual case is 2 pieces and it doesn't stay together. You must use it with the holster at all times.

The case I had for my Note 8 broke. This case costs much less and is not as bulky as my old case so fits better in a pocket if that is your preferred carrying method. It is also easier to take off when I need to change out a card or clean the phone. The front of the case has a belt clip and portrait kickstand. The back has a landscape kickstand. Makes it very easy to set on a desk any way you want to look at it.

Like the case and the kick stand functions. Left off one star because so far I can't tell if it's as durable as my OtterBox defender series

Protected the phone well but eventually opted for a fully enclosed case to protect the screen.

This is a very sturdy case and purchased for a good price. Should last a long time
