I'm sort of old fashioned. Was looking for a charger for my Samsung Note 5 and was very set on purchasing the old style, very familiar type with a coil but the Samsung rep at my local Best Buy almost insisted that I buy this item in lieu of the old stand by type and boy he was right. Because it works with the existing charger of my phone there's no need to carry around the older more awkward type, it charges faster, is more portable, especially important if I'm traveling. To speak to that last point since I have to carry the home power cord with me anyhow for use in hotel rooms why not use one cord instead of two for my portable power needs ? That's essentially what this quick charge allows for and it's so much smaller too. . I keep one in my car and am going to purchase a second one to be packed away in my suitcase to be poised and ready to go for my next in air trip..

This item works great! First my car well, charges fast, and built well. I would definitely buy if you have a Android that uses the speed charger. Also...I've had other chargers in the past that included the cord to charge your phone and the cord ends up shorting out from being bent/twisted over time This charger eliminates the problem and you will only ever have to buy a new cord vs new charger.

Gives quick charge capability to car adapter with USB cable. It is high quality. Awesome reliable portable. Wish it had the dual USB port or I would give it 5 stars

This is a great charger! It is really well made and fits very snug in the car port. I bought those cheap $5 ones that take forever to charge. I have a Samsung Note 5 and it charges quickly even while I am using it. The cheaper ones seem to drain power faster than it charges. I did not give it 5 stars because it is difficult to take out. Maybe this is why it works so fast? Snug fit? Every once in a while, I wanted to take it out and put it in the back of the car so my kids could use it, but it is tight. I will just have to buy another one.

I had ordered a cheaper "fast charger" online for my Samsung galaxy 6. Not only did it not charge fast it quit working after the 3rd charge. So I did what I should have done to begin with, headed to Best Buy and got the Platinum Quick Charger. It works like it's supposed to and best of all it still works after the 3rd charge!

Best Buy was offering a 25% discount with the purchase of three cell phone accessories; therefore, I purchased this car charger with a case and screen protector for my new iPhone7. It works as expected at a good price! It should come in handy! I am happy with this purchase.

This is one of the items that I had been looking in to getting I have an HTC M9 and was not shipped with a quick charge 2.0 adapter. Now the HTC does not have a quick charge 2.0 charger for the car so this was a bonus to have one in my car. This is great for that that 15 to 30 minute drive and getting at least a 40% to 50% charge. I have tried it with a HTC M9 and a Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy s6 it works fine with these I did try it on Nexus 5 to later find out that it is not supported even with the 800 snap dragon. Now the only drawback is that it works a lot better with a good cable preferably the one that came with your phone. I have also tried it with a longer cable and it works but not as good as with a good quality cable. I recommend this for the price you can’t go wrong.

I was skeptical that a car charger could provide the same level of charge that a wall charger could. With a regular car charger, I was finding my phone draining from Google Maps & PocketCasts or Spotify running, while driving around, even when charging at the same time. With this charger, I can have my screen on for GPS and stream a podcast or music, and have still charged to full on my 40 minute commute. This is better than I could have hoped for. The charger itself sinks deep into the socket and doesn't wiggle. It's sturdy and I've had no problems whatsoever.

This charger has the Qualcomm quick charging standard built in. When I plug my nearly dead 10% Motorola phone into it, the phone tells me it will be fully charged in just over an hour and a half. The size of this charger is perfect, fitting nearly flush with the power outlet so that the only thing sticking out is the cord. There is a single outlet for a USB charging cord. The Qualcomm fast charging standard works with only some Android phones. It does not support Apple or Samsung, though this charger should still power and charge anything with a USB plug, just at the regular charging rate.

charger works great and is very fast and so far seems to be worth the extra cost, granting it doesn't break in a couple months like the cheaper chargers.

This is actually my second go around with this product . I liked it so much that I immediately gave the first one to my sister and bought a second. I have a phone capable of utilizing the Quick Charge. I wanted to take advantage of this while driving. This device works so well that I can and have run Spotify, Waze, and received Facebook and text notifications all at once. The battery simply doesn't go down. The one downside is that, like the wall Quick Charge units, it is prone to making your phone a bit hot. Other than that, it is a great product.

Had bought one of these for my wife at Christmas, and I was impressed with the charging speed. Plus it is not bulky.

If your phone cable is a usb cable, this is a great travel size adapter. I fly a great deal + this adapter is a good size. To this point, it has fit into every rental I have had without an issue, the blue light showing it has a charge is not terribly blinding at night, and the silver on its face, which I wasn't initially crazy about, I am now pleased with as it helps to better see + serve as a reminder to remove it as returning to vehicle. Additionally, charges my phone, iPad quickly.

I love this charger. CAN be used with any device a kindle will charge fully within 30 mins.

This charger is great. It's small and doesn't take up space near the port. It charges my Samsung S6 very quickly-and even my friends' apple phones. On 2% my phone charged in less than 1hr 30 mins. I travel a lot so this is very useful since keeping the navigation & internet on depletes my battery. My old charger takes over 4 hrs to fully charge my phone- I'm never using it again. I'm happy with my purchase.

The fast charging circuit worked fine in one of my cars, but just standard charging in the other. Turns out, it depends on what charging cord you use. Some allow fast charging, some do not so it reverts to normal 2 amp charging, about half the speed as fast charging circuitry. I don't know the specs of the cord that allows fast charging, I just tried all the ones around the house until I found 2 that worked. The phone tells you when fast charging is taking place. The fast charging only works with droids that have the circuitry, no IPhones.
