this case will also fit iphone 8plus same dementions only difference is the back opening slot touches the rear camera lense by a "hair" but will not get in the way of taking pic or even using the flash..

bought this item a couple of months ago after a couple of weeks the clip the hold the phone (not the belt clip)broke ,called platinum they made a appointment with best buy so I could take it back to get another one and I got another one ,now the same thing happened the clip that hold the phone in the holster broke AGAIN. I don't think I will be buying this case with holster again.

I started using platinum brand back when I got my IPhone 6 Plus. This brand is strong and durable. Iv dropped my phone countless times And when i take off the phone cover the phone is unscratched or dings. The first cover on my iPhone 6plus I think last me over 2 years. When I got a new iPhone 8plus again I got a platinum cover and again it last me almost 2 years. I just had a buy the iPhone 7plus cover because platinum didn’t make The design I had previously purchased For my iPhone 6plus. The platinum iPhone 7 Plus still worked perfectly For the iPhone 8plus I have .I Bought another platinum iPhone 7 Plus cover almost a month ago as always I’m happy with the product . It’s just sad that the company Doesn’t Make The phone covers as durable looking anymore.

I bought this because I needed a belt clip holster. Previously I had the sedio surface case and holster. This platinum is almost as thin. Has the same Matt finish not too slick or grippy. The holster is a different latch mechanism, basically built into the holster. The clip swivels, although not all the way around, it will allow phone to be stowed vertically or horizontally. it’s ok for left handed people just the volume buttons are right where I grip it to pull the phone out, so I stow the phone backwards. I’m now used to the latch on holster. Time will tell if and or when the clip breaks. So far so good. I would buy this again.

It seems that no one is making cases for the iPhone 6+ any more. Fortunately, this case works fine. I have been using the Platinum holster for a long time and didn't want to give up the format. My only complaint with this holster is the spring-loaded retention clip in the old model has been replaced by a fixed plastic making it a bit more difficult to remove the phone. That said, it was the hinge for the spring-loaded clip that failed with my old one.

I have bought a number of cases with holsters over the years. This one so far is holding up to the rigors of my work in a factory and getting in and out of vehicles. The kickstand on the case works okay, but seems a little weak. The kickstand on the holster is somewhat sturdier. Also, the ratcheting mechanism of the holster is holding up too.

This is a replacement I purchased over two years ago. The clip that clips over my belt spring was getting weak and not closing tight as it had when it was new. I was concerned that it might slip off belt and drop my phone. I researched model and found Best Buy still sold same model. I was lucky!!!

This tends to be my favorite case as it is thinner than many, has the rotating belt clip, and I can often find it on sale or clearance. I most like the way it snaps in. It is very easy to snap in and out. It is easy to put on and off my phone and does a good job protecting my phone. I like the kickstands it offers as well. The one issue that really frustrates me is that the belt clip is very weak. This has been the failure on this case for me 100% of the time. The pin bends and breaks easily and/or slides out. The clip—especially the part the holds the pin easily breaks. If the belt clip was more durable, this would be a fantastic case

Good clip on holder, with a solid back fold out stand...holds the phone firmly in place and you can stand it up but horizontally and vertically. Better quality the the three, that have broken, I've bought from Verizon.

This unit not only protects my I Phone from scratches and falls, but also has a holster that it fits into, so I can clip it on my belt when I hike, or just out and about on the town. Keeps the phone handy.

The case has survived several falls and didn’t show signs of damage. I like the fact that the case is not as big as the otter box. I also like the kickstand feature on the case and carrier.

This is my third Platinum case over the years. Everyone has outlasted the phone. The clip on the belt holster broke on my first one and they replaced it without hesitation.

This is my third iPhone holster I’ve had and I wouldn’t want any other because it protects my iPhone as well as keeps it connected to my belt without worry of losing it!!

Great phone case ! Keeps your phone protected ,but very hard to plug in wired head phones or aux cord. Overall great buy!

This case provides good protection for the Phone and includes a kickstand for propping the phone up. The belt clip is located on the secondary outer case.

A much better case than the Verizon branded case I’ve bought several times prior whose belt clip eventually spins freely and winds up breaking off.
