Works perfectly. Fast USB 3.0 plug. Only issue is that I'd prefer to have the USB-C as a short cable, rather than just plugging in as one piece. That would make it less likely to get damaged or knocked off.

Its a simple adapter that lets me connect my USB drives to my Ipad. The only issue is if you have any type of cover on your iPad, it will be difficult to connect the adapter. It would be great if it came with a small USB C cable extender. Other than that it works as promised, I can connect any of my USB drives to my iPad to transfer data which is great.

It's compact, it's sturdy, and it does the job. I have another one by a different manufacturer and there's about 6 inches of unnecessary cord that separates one end from the other, and it tended to get yanked out and easily damaged. This one just has the two connectors that you need in one compact unit. The whole thing is about an inch and a quarter long, and when it's plugged into the computer, it's just an inch. I would definitely buy it again if I needed to.

My new laptop only has USB C ports, I guess that's the new thing now. Bought this product so I could still use all of my hard drives. Works great, and is small and convenient. I'm planning on buying more so that I can keep one on each cord that needs it, instead of having to move this one around.

Having the new iPad pro 2019, you're going to need to attach other devices such as external hard drives. Albeit I have plenty of storage at 512gb internal, I always used external hard drives because I'm a videographer and photographer that shoots in RAW. this little device helps me with connectivity by having the female USB connection to use any drive that I have to edit from. Just be sure to keep up with it because it is small. Otherwise ENJOY!!

Love it. Fits easily into my apple laptop computer.....use it mainly for an external hard drive.....I would add that often when I am removing the hard drive the adapter comes out as well, but easy fix...just plug it back in. Was affordable. My only wash is that these computer a n phone companies would quit changing their charging and other ports so quickly....must be some reason other than taking my money.

First off let me say I can't believe Samsung doesn't provide this standard anymore. When I bought my new Note 20 Ultra I couldn't believe this was not included so I could transfer info from old phone to new ph. My previous Samsung phones (Note 10+, Note 8, Note 4, and Galaxy 20 Ultra) all came with this device in the box. Having said that, this product worked fine. It did just as expected and just as described.

I purchased this nice little adapter for MacBook Air M1. It works fine and fits in my travel accessories case. On sale, this is a great buy. This was lower priced than comparable products on that other website which starts with an A. I trust the Platinum brand from Best Buy, they have always stood behind my purchases.

I am not sure why this was the only product, the only option, hanging in the aisle of my local Best Buy-- but maybe the reason is that it works perfectly? The cost was very reasonable and it does exactly what I needed... to connect my old USB A gadgets to my new Thunderbolt 3 laptop computer. If I had been thinking of the future, I would have bought two of these.

I bought this for half price on BB deal of the day, it was worth every penny. I recently purchased a 2021 Apple Mac Pro with 4 USB C inputs. Most of my audio devices are standard USB A so this adapter was a necessity and fits perfect into the Mac as well as a solid fit with my cable. I do recommend these as I have bought 3 all together and use them constantly..

This usb a to c adapter has been so handy and a nice addition instead of purchasing additional cables at a higher price. It’s convenient to carry around instead of a large cable too. I have some devices that use different connectors and it’s less space to carry around adapters than a million cables.

I have no problems with this gadget! When I bought my 13' MacBook Pro a couple of weeks ago from Best Buy, the computer only had USB C ports, and I have a flash drive where I keep all my important information on (Personal, Work, and School). This has been a life saver! Now I don't have to transfer all of my files to my computer or another USB C flash drive!

It's rare that you find a Mac accessory that isn't ridiculously overpriced for what it does (Mac tax) but for $7 or so this did the trick. I got a newer MBPro & I needed to connect 4-5 "regular" USB devices to it - got this & a standard USB 3.0 hub & I was good to go. Saved me a lot over buying one of those Mac-specific docks that can cost anywhere from $100-$300.

I have bunches of jump drives with the USB connections. I bought a tablet with nothing but USB-C connections. Rather than purchase all new jump drives, I found the Platinum adapter. Now I can connect all those jump drives to the new tablet. It works great, the tablet recognizes the drive making file transfer quick and easy.

A great option to have if you need another USB port on your computer. It is pretty affordable

Coming from a 2011 MacBook Pro 15" I had several legacy devices I needed to connect to my new MacBook Pro 16". This item made short work of connecting the older USB-A devices to the USB-C port. Small but mighty. Connects well and a nice tight fit unlike others that would work loose when you didn't want. Overall a purchase well made at a great price.

I bought this adapter to go with my new Chromebook that only has USB C ports. I am old and still like to use my mouse when I am at home. This device allowed me to plug in my USB A transceiver for my wireless mouse. It works well for this need. I gave it four stars because it does stick out and I have to be careful not to bump into it. However, when I do pack up my Chromebook, I just unplug this device with the transceiver in it and throw them both in my backpack.

Awesome!!! I also own the Belkin, Apple, & insignia USB-A to USB-C adapter & this is the one I use by far the most. It's small size allows you to do things with it the others just can't. Even though its smaller, the functionality is right up there with all the others. This one gets the A triple + from me!

Big enough to find & not be lost in my clutter - Small enough to fit tight spots. It does the job, is well made, and was not overpriced like some accessories tend to be.

Not being a track pad fan (arthritics in fingers) and not finding many UBS-C mice this works great for connecting a USB-A mouse to my new MacBook Pro. I also got a second one to connect a portable backup hard drive to the same MacBook Pro and it works ok. It does not transfer at Thunderbolt speed but for $10 it works OK.
