I like this case because the real walnut wood looks cool and the side of the case is "grippy" enough to easily hang on to. The case doesn't extend much, if any, beyond the front face of the phone, so if you're going to drop it, don't drop it there! If you take good care of your phone normally, you should be fine.

This is my second case to purchase from this brand. This new one improved upon a previous design flaw that would cause the case to get hung up on your pocket when you were retrieving your phone - which would in turn cause your phone to fall out of your hand. So far, no drops. I love the walnut too.

This case has a nice finish and looks nice. Not your typical rubber or hard plastic case as it has the wood grain finish. Purchased this case for my son as an open box item. Opened it later and it was the wrong case. Took it back and exchanged it and was in and out in about ten minutes.

I usually leave my phones au naturale. But the last few phones I’ve had, I always end up buying cases from Platinum. I had a bamboo style for my 6plus, brushed steel for another phone, and now this walnut case. These cases always end up staying on longer than any other one I might purchase.

I have wasted his hundreds of dollars trying to find a satisfactory case. For one reason or another, they all fell short. This case however, is hands down the best case I've ever owned. It's lightweight, so much so, I forget it's installed. The durability is incredible.

This is actually the 2nd one I've bought. Upgraded from a 6 to an 8, and ended up buying the same case for both. The wood is solid, and gives the phone a very elegant feel. Also, the bottom is open, so you can use it with any side lightning connectors.

Very attractive cover for the iPhone. Rubber on sides for good grip. Case does not extend all the way across the bottom, which is good for not getting in the way, but leaves the bottom glass susceptible to cracking in a fall if it hits the right way.

The real wood really set it off for me. I actually got this off a free promo best buy was doing but I think I would have bought it for the right price. Finally met its demise last week but all my fault. Gorgeous wood.

I have previously purchased this case from Platinum for Galaxy S8 and liked it enough to purchase another one for iPhone 8 now. The wood feels nice and the black plastic feels smooth but just enough grip.

I was hesitant to buy this for my son--he's a bit of a clutch so I wanted a "kid proof" case but, to my surprise, it's quite tough and has protected his iPhone 7 quite well (Zagg tempered glass protects the screen).

This is a nice and fancy case. I admit it doesn’t do much protecting its to make your phone look good. I fear dropping my phone and breaking it. But as for looks it’s looks great I love the wood finish.

I purchased this case along with a screen protector for my new phone. I have only had the items a few weeks but I have dropped the phone "less than 24 inches onto a hard surface" without any damage to my phone.

Got the case while it was on sale. After a month it has held up well, one small crack in the wood above the camera. It is barely noticeable. Fits well in pocket and slides out easily without feeling like it gets stuck.

It's ok not really a fan of it. It's slipper. It's never be dropped, but still has a couple of chunks out of it. So, I guess it's fragile. Received as a gift.

The all wood back has a nice warm looking appearance and feels good to the touch. The side are rubberized and have a non-slip grip. There are cutouts the phone buttons and speakers.

I originally bought my husband an different case that was a different brand but he returned for this and he loves this case. It's not too thick but still a good case!

Smooth looking case that seems to do the trick. It’s the second one we’ve bought as the rubber sides on first one started breaking down after being used for a couple years.

I slipped it on and now I never want to take it off. Oh yeah, it's just a phone cover. But it does the trick better than that life proof stuff. I can touch the keys and they work.

This case was a tight fit on my 6S. But it works great and doesn't slip off at all. I found that it's easier to remove the case from the bottom, rather than the top.

We just upgraded our iPhones, and my wife didn't have to think twice. She went right to the stand and picked up it his case...she loves it! Super sleek and great protection.
