A classic for a good reason. Gripping drama with excellent acting. The movie will stir your emotions. Nothing about war is pleasant and this movie does not shy away from it. I will not give any spoilers - but a must watch!

Decent transfer. I didn’t see the waxy bits everyone is quarreling about. Perhaps you just need the right display. I enjoyed it sufficiently. Minus one star because Tropic Thunder ripped this movie to shreds and I can’t watch it without snickering.

Apart from this movie being very good, I thought the 4k disc was excellent. The colors popped, the picture was crisp, it sounded great. This is likely the best way to watch this movie today

I find this movie to be very gritty and moving. It is a well-made film with enjoyable characters that you love and love to hate. The film showcases the brutality of the Vietnam War.

Its on me for not verifying, but this does not include any digital codes, which is annoying and frustrating for when I'm somewhere without access to my disk

Excellent 4K transfer. You will not be disappointed. Movie still has some film grain. But still looks awesome in 4K HDR.

What a great transfer to 4k perfect picture now and this version is 20 minutes longer than the original a must have

Very good story. The actors were really good. I was in the military during the that war but served in the USA.

One of the worst 4Ks i've seen. Its been DNR'd heavily resulting in a blurry presentation. It looks like someone smeared vasoline across my screen. Such an iconic film doesn't deserve this treatment. Won't even recommend if it was discounted heavily.

what else can you say about this great classic movie at a great price and highly recommend it.

Platoon is a great film. The 4k doesn't look the best, but I'm glad I have it.
