I bought this about 3 weeks ago as the "Deal of the Day". I have been playing with the machine every day to make sure it gets through the first 30 days. And yes, I had my reservations about purchasing a refurbished PS3. But the price of $179 bucks was just too tempting to pass up. I am very happy to find this deal and I am most pleased with the purchase. 2 minutes after I put this baby in my cart they sold out.If I have but one complaint it is that the supplied HDMI cable used for charging the controllers was bent at the end that goes into the controller. A small screw driver manged to open it up and it works fine. If anything goes wrong within the 90 day warranty I will let you know but I believe all will remain well.

I was a little worried when I decided to upgrade from a 40 gb ps3 to a 250 gb refurbished one. Not that I don't trust playstation or best buy, but I was a little nervous. Luckily, I've had no problems in the two or three months that I've had it. It's a great platform for anyone to use, from the intense gamer, to the movie buff, even my sister, who isn't either, bought herself one. It's a good system.

I have got a refurbished ps3 a couple weeks ago. Now I have to send it back because it is freezing up and it has distortion. Every time i go to play it in like 10 to 20 minutes it is freezing up. Anyone thats is deciding to buy a new or refurbished one just go and pay the extra 50 it is not worth having a playstation for a week.

I got this PS3 when its on deal of the day, with a price tag that you cant resist. Fast shipping and well protected but without the original box. Opened it and examined the unit, a little scratches there, and there and a light touch up of paint on the top. But since its refurb, they forgot to put back the rubber feet, so It slides on top of my TV rack. I contact customer service and a fast reply was sent and they said it will be mailed. Unfortunately during the shipping the envelope was damaged and the rubber feet was lost. An empty envelope have reached our home. Sent another email 3 times, no reply from the CS. and that is just the rubber feet, what it you want a repair......... I returned mine after 20 days.

Out of the box, this thing's controller charger was completely inoperable. No controller, no games.

He loves everything it is capable of doing and so much more...great buy for the price and quality.

After only five days of use I already need to make a warranty claim!

It a good price, and i alway want a ps3. but when i came to best buy it sold out just like a blink an eye.
