Great graphics, easy to use interface. Nice exclusives.

We got the PS4 about a month ago and me and my family are having a great time with it. The graphics on some of these game, my goodness. I thought the PS3 was amazing. What a ton of fun this system is.

When you use an older version, you ask yourself how could it get better? Then you get the new system and become baffled at how well it works!

This system is a great buy it has games and apps for everyone from kids to adults. The PS4 is definitely a must buy with all of the new games and exclusives releasing later this year and beyond.

The new Playstation is a great update to the Playstation family. The new controller is very comfortable and has some great features built in, including the touch sensitive pad. The battery life on the controller seems to go fast, but thankfully with this version you can plug in and charge it while the Playstation is in standby mode, so that helps alleviate that problem. And thankfully, with a recent update, my old PS3 wireless 7.1 headset now works with the system!

Having been extremely disappointed with the PS3 throughout it's lifespan I was happy to see at least some issues have been fixed in the PS4. Most notably is the controller. I love the new controller, except for the thumbstick layout. The triggers are great, the textured grip feels nice, and the concave thumbsticks are a good touch. The negatives are that they still kept the poor layout of the thumbsticks. I have somewhat long fingers and my thumbs will sometimes bump each other since the sticks are so close together. Frustrating. Another negative to the controller is the layout of the options (start) and share (select) buttons. The options button is very annoying to hit because it isn't in a position that feels natural for your thumb to reach. One last comment on the controller: the touch pad is both good and bad. This feature feels extremely gimmicky. I have seen it used really well so far, and also really poorly. For instance; in Tomb Raider you can flick the touch pad up or down to ignite or unequip your torch. Kinda cool I guess. Then you get to your map, which is accessed by clicking this monster touchpad button. Using the touch pad to navigate the map is horrible. I feel like the controller wouldn't be missing much by not having the touch pad. Another gimmick is the light on the controller. This also has some positives and negatives. As you've probably read sometimes it gets annoying playing a dark game and having the glare of your bright light on your controller reflecting off of the tv. I had a few instances where this was kind of bothersome, but not terrible. A great instance of this used properly was also in Tomb Raider. When you pull out your torch the light flickers red and yellow to simulate the torch light. With the lights turned out this is a cool feature. Also in some other games it will turn red when you die. It is interesting at times, but not necessary. As far as the UI goes, I dislike it. It is better than the PS3 by far, but still not great. All of your games and recent apps are all put on one bar, which if you play a lot of different things with the system can get really long. It gets annoying searching this long bar for whichever game you want to play. It desperately needs a way of categorizing things to reduce the amount of time searching. The PS Store is drastically improved. So far I am liking it. This is definitely an improvement over the PS3, but not so huge to feel like a next-gen system. It feels more like PlayStation 3.5. I really hope they take the route that Microsoft took with the 360 and now the X1 by making changes to the UI consistently to stay fresh and upgrade any qualms with it. The PS3 UI pretty much looks exactly the same as it did the first day of released. Please don't let this be the case for the PS4!

I just switched from a XBOX 360 to the PS4 and am really happy with chioce. Easy to use and a blast to play.

There's way too much to write. ..so I'll summarize. Graphics take the lead role here, & so far games seem more interested in being pretty than full of substance. Infamous 2nd son should change that. The PS+ games have been good...especially Resogun, & Outlast. The controller is the best iteration thus far from SONY. Not a big fan of the dashboard, & I had a controller break already, but that is my norm with SONY products. ..which is why I always get an extended warranty with SONY. All things considered. ..I love it. It's great at the one thing it's truly meant to do, which is to play pretty games.

My son bought this using one of his PS3s as a trade in. There is a noticable improvment in the graphics. He loves it. I like the way it looks in our entertainment center. The only thing i do not like is it is not compatable with my Harmony PS3 adaptor. Right now Logitech doesnt have a date on when there will be an update for the Harmony remotes to be used with the PS4. So for now I have to use the controler to stream anything from Playstation network.

Ps4 has great graphics and is easy to navigate. My 7 year old has no trouble using the system in terms of getting to his games and playing them. Also love the new controler and hate the no backwards compatability.

This operates exactly as expected. Ease of use, graphics and overall performance are just what I expected.

This is a Elite machine, Playstation has done it again with this latest installment.. Xbox, keep lowering your prices and you still won't outsell Playstation.. Ok, maybe I'm wrong, lol....

As I said before, graphics are so real like a friend came by to visit and actually thought the Spurs were playing the Heat in the Finals until a few minutes later, he realized it was NBA2K14.

The console itself is solid, runs fast and smoothly. It has great style, weighs nothing and overall really easy to use. The only downside that i have found is the controller battery life... other than that PS4 is a must have for any enthusiast player.

I love this console. Having both the PS4 and Xbox one I tend to enjoy the graphics on this more. The Xbox has better multimedia support but the design and feel of the PS4 is much better.

I must admit that there is absolutely nothing not to love about the Playstation 4. Great graphics, games, and everything about it is awesome.

The title selection and graphics are superior to all competing consoles of this generation... Even the controllers are more durable. I haven't plugged my Xbox One in since I got my PS4.

I was a little iffy to pick up my pre-order when I heard about all the problems people were initially facing with their launch systems. I decided to go ahead and get it since it was to be my birthday present I purchased for myself and I already had the weekend clear of work and other things to enjoy playing it. Brought it home and after downloading all the necessary updates for my system and games, I was off and running. This system is amazing, the visuals on some games like AC4, Killzone and even 2K14 are jaw dropping. This is just scratching the surface, games are going to get more and more visually impressive and I'm very excited to see the future of gaming arrive.

PS4 lives up to the hype. Bought this without a bundled game, but ended up saving money with a price check rebate. Bought GTAV on sale and system has been everything I need it to be.

this systm is great i enjoy every bit of it i hope gesture functions and 4k come out on it soon and the grpahics are great the games are great fast downloading time great features also.
