Excelent graphics, colors, and the best Is 4K! I love it

i honestly i just bought it because i can. i don't really care about the 4k... i want the new ps4 with the new look. the pictures i had been seeing do this system NO justice. it's actually a very nice looking system. it feels a lot heavier (i guess there's a lot more **** in there) i have an xbox one s (which is also very nice looking) and the original ps4 & xbox 1 still. unless you're a game freak... you probably don't need this the standard ps4 is just fine . sony has even said this is more for the hardcore gamer. (not trying to insult to anyone) more like trying to save people some money so 1. unless you care about slightly better graphics and frame rate or 2 . you just want the newer system... go for it if you just want to play ps4 games stick with the original .

All around run system ! Supports 4K and lots of storage !

4K is the most optimal way to enjoy the PS4 Pro and the most important way to get the most out of this system. If you don't have a 4K TV, there are a couple worthwhile things you can do with the Pro even without 4K. In Horizon Zero Dawn, you get the option of increasing performance or graphical fidelity, and other games take advantage in different ways on PS4 Pro. Also, all screenshots are saved in 3840x2160 resolution, and all video clips are saved in 1080p. If you don't have a regular PS4 now and either have or plan to get a 4K TV in the future, the Pro will be the way to go. If you don't have a 4K TV yet but still want the Pro, there are some benefits you can take advantage of right away. If 4K doesn't interest you any, the Slim would be the preferable option.

I upgraded from my launch PS4 to the Pro. I couldn't be happier with the new system. Im playing on a Sony W900a (1080p) TV and games like Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 look beautiful down sampled to 1080p. Both games are extremely sharp and BF1 runs at a smoother frame rate than OG PS4. For a $400 box you get great gaming performing that will match a midrange PC. BF1 runs with a dynamic resolution round 1440p-1700p and Titanfall 4 runs 1440p at 60 fps. Famous First light looks great as well. I just picked up Rise of the Tomb Raider but haven't tried it yet. If you're a gamer who values image quality and don't have a gaming PC the PS4 Pro is worth it even on a 1080p TV.

If you don't have nice 4k HDR TV, then this versions offers you nothing. If you do, then the Pro will blow your mind with the increase in graphics. Now there are settings on the TV and the ps4 that need to be setup to fully maximize the abilities, but I am thoroughly impressed even in games that are not optimized yet for the 4k. The upscaling looks beautiful. Once they release 'boost mode' update, all games get the extra boost and will dramatically improve performance and picture quality. I traded in my old ps4/controller and easily justified the purchase. Also I connected both ps4 to network with LAN and it took an hour to transfer all game installs and saved data. You can even pick and choose what data not to transfer. Very pleased so far

The only reason I purchased the Pro over the regular PS4 is because last Black Friday I was fortunate enough to snag a 4K TV at a reasonable price. Since I already had one half of the equation, I figured, why not. Having said that, I really can't tell the difference between when I have the 4K toggled on or off. I don't have the best vision to begin with, but when playing Horizon: Zero Dawn, I started playing with the 4K on, and I thought, "Dang, this game looks amazing." Then I noticed the fans in the console were working super hard and I got a bit worried about it overheating (which is probably unfounded since I'm sure the thing is designed to operate comfortably under that level of stress) so I toggled the 4K off. The fans died down and the game seemed to maintain the same framerate that it did before and I still found myself thinking it looked amazing. Maybe I'd think differently if I could see a side by side comparison of the game on a regular PS4 vs the Pro, but since I haven't seen that, all I can conclude is that games on the Pro look and run beautifully, and I'm more than satisfied with my purchase.

The PS4 Pro turned out to be a great gaming console when paired with a 4K HDR tv and HDR enabled games. It outputs PC like graphics that are almost hard to believe that are coming out of a gaming console. The controller ergos are great, but the controller depletes the battery charge in a...”spirited” manner. A 2nd controller ready to jump in and take control of the situation is recommended to avoid your session coming to a screeching halt. I only do local gaming sessions on the console and nothing else, so I can’t comment on any other features that the PS4 Pro has available in it’s Bag-O-Tricks.

I purchased this alongside my TV. Happy I did so! The pro enhanced titles look great! However if you don’t own or plan on owning a 4K tv then you’d probably be better off with the slim model instead.

Graphics, Audio, and the speed compared to ps4 is so much better. Plus it plays games in 4K. That is one reason and the other is I could not get a ps5.

I would suggest getting a PS4 Pro to anyone looking for a PS4. The pro alone operates much faster and the graphics are definitely better than a normal PS4. Plus having 1tb of memory is pretty great as well.

I owned a launch PS4, and waited to upgrade until I had a primary 4K TV. The improvements in speed, storage, and picture justify the expense, in my opinion. Another great Playstation product from Sony.

Got the PS4 Pro when I upgraded to a new 4K TV. I like playstation more than X-box. I have a stand alone 4K DVD player to watch movies. I got the PS4 Pro to play games. Awesome combo of a sweet TV and a sweet PS4. Video games are my winter hobby and this winter will be awesome. Just gotta pick up some new games :)
