Great graphics, not quite the game base that I am accustomed to playing BUT I am pleased with this purchase. Easy, but long process to set it up. But once in place and all updates are done, you are good to go.

In the console wars, the PS4 is the way to go. Especially if you have a 4K HDR TV. Powerful gaming at it's best with stunning picture. I have both the Xbox One and PS4 Pro and I favor playing the PS4 every game.

I’ve had the PS4 for a few years now, and I just upgraded to the pro. It is faster, and looks much better. It runs quieter and has a few more features than the regular ps4. Definitely a must if you have a 4K tv.

Upgraded from PS4 for battlefield 1. The picture is so much clearer and the enemy are easier to spot. Horizon Dawn looks awesome on it too! The extra storage helps as well without having to add an external hd.

The menus are fast, less lag while using all the features at once and looks amazing on 4K TVs and monitors. If you missed out on the blk Friday sale it’s still worth getting I’d say. Awesome gaming machine

I bought this for my boyfriend as a Christmas present and he is absolutely in love with it. I was torn between the regular PS4 and this but I went with the pro because of the superior graphics and speed.

Whether you have a PS4 Pro, Slim, or standard PlayStation 4 the system is great because of the many exclusives, so on the software front if you are a gamer who likes a system because of exclusives Sony's console is amazing. Regarding the Ps4 Pro itself the design and size of the machine make it look a bit bulky (as if two ps4s were taped together). The controller is amazing the system itself runs quietly, game developers I'm sure can take more advantage of features such as boost mode available only on the ps4 pro and not the other ps4 consoles. Obviously it runs 4K not native 4k however games such as Horizon Zero Dawn if you have a 4k Tv will look absolutely amazing. For the price $400.00 you can't go wrong.

I had sold my regular PS4 a while back and was in the market again for another PS4 so I decided to pick up the pro. I absolutely love the performance of this over the regular PS4. Graphics are amazing!

Got this for my brother as an upgrade from his PS3...he loves this. He said the graphics are good and the performance is definitely better than his old system. Can't wait to get more games to try out.

Love the 4K gaming. I had a 4K tv already but a regular ps4. Switching to the pro really does enhance the graphics more. I feel it runs smoother as well. Can’t wait to get a VR and see how that looks!

The PS4 Pro is an awesome bargain at $400. I am extremely knowledgeable in the computer field. I am a technician. I will say that, in all honesty, the PS4 Pro should cost more than $400, probably close to $600 seeing what high-end quality parts are under the hood. However, I understand SONY has priced it this way to blow Xbox One and the upcoming Scorpio out of the water. So, SONY is actually taking a sizable loss on ever unit.....approximately $179 USD per PS4 Pro. The PS4 Pro has an extremely premium feel to the unit. It is extremely well designed and very well built. The cooling solution and extra air vents are very impressively implemented, keeping the PS4 Pro running quiet and cool at all times, even under full load. But, realistically, the PS4 Pro wouldn't truly reach full load for at least a couple more years. The standard PS4 still hasn't maxed out its' full potential. The machine is heavy, but deservingly so with the new hardware under the hood. You don't need a 4K TV. If you have a 1080P TV the graphics still stun the eyes, especially with HDR support. Also, framerates drastically improve. On my LG UHD 4K TV, VR is flawless and without VR, games look stunning at a solid 30-40 FPS. This is the most solid product I have EVER seen from a console maker, and SONY delivers yet again. So, with everything just about covered here, I would buy another one in a heartbeat. It's worth ever penny and more. It's simply, A MUST OWN. A+++

Its not just that my games now look better, but they even perform better. The faster processing has helped reduce lag. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it runs so hot, so make sure you have plenty of ventilation for this console.

Very happy with the clean crisp graphics on my 4K tv. I don't see much of a difference with game play with the vr headset. However system loads quickly and has a great library of games to play.

For those of you that think that a PlayStation Pro is the same as a Playstaion 4 you are wrong. If you have a nice HDR 4K tv at your home trading for a PlayStation Pro is a good idea. As any system in the market PlayStation Pro have some games that will be optimize to take advantage of this features some games will not be optimize so you will not notice the difference. PlayStation always on top of the game bringing the best games. Got it on sale for 350 and having the opportunity to spend 1000 on a nice Sony 900 improve my gaming experience to the maximum in games like: Grandturismo spot Horizon Call of duty Just cause 3 And some other optimized games.

I have had the original PS4 since launch day and at the time was to totally content with its capabilities. Just last year purchased a 4K UHD tv and pretty bummed out my beloved PS4 could not support any of these features I just paid so much for. The PS4 Pro allows me to play the same games that I already own in much higher resolution I and colors depth. I could tell a vert significant improvement in Uncharted 4 and Tomb Raiider Origins. The frame rate was faster and more consistent, The image looked much sharper andn the HDR made the colors look SIGNIFICANTLY better, but not the kind of extreme improvement you see between console generations. If you are like me, and have spent a significant amount on a TV that is 4K and/or HDR supported the PS4 PRO is a no brainer. I am excited to see some upcoming releases that were developed for the new system rather than patched long after their release date. If you have or plan on upgrading your tv in the near future this consol will future proof you for the foreseeable future.

The setup was extremely easy. Plenty of storage space. The Android TV is intuitive and there is a great selection of available APPS. The 4K is awesome. Highly recommend this system.

i originally owned the first release edition ps4. which worked great for years but lately i noticed things were taking longer and the fan was awful. about a month ago i got the pro and it was amazing. it runs so much better than my old console. and while you'll need to own a 4k tv to truly experience the better graphics but even with my regular TV there was a definite improvement.

This was to replace the original ps4 we had in the living room. I will say that this one runs much quieter and seems to load a bit faster. I can notice a slight difference in graphics but to be fair my TV is 10 years old. Also the 1tb of storage is nice since with the 500gb I was having to use an external drive. I picked this up on sale where as it was only $50 more than the standard unit and Im glad I did.

Bought the PS4 strictly for playing Horizon Zero Dawn. It is visually stunning on my 4k TV. The apps like Netflix, Hulu, Twitch, etc. would make any TV seem like a smart TV.
