Awesome piece of gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PS4 pro is definitely an upgrade from a normal PS4, and if you have a 4K TV it's a significant upgrade in graphics and processor speed.

Decent upgrade bot not sure if its worth it.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you don't own a 4K TV then there is no point in getting this. The reason I don't know if it's worth it, because sure some games do look better, but I don't know if it is worth $500. The jump isn't that big. Just build a High End gaming PC if you want better graphics and high framerate.

Best Console On The Market!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was an upgrade from a 500gb PS4, love the added storage. Noticeably faster machine. Only complaint is I wish it played UHD4k.

Great picture.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great picture. Slightly better than Xbox. PS4 does run a little hotter, so I would suggest a fan blowing on it to help keep cooler

Worth the upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Before I start, please note I've upgraded from my PS3 purchased back in 2008 to the PS4 Pro. As most reviews state if you don't have a 4K TV or one that supports HDR, you won't see a noticeable difference off the bat, however if you plan on upgrading your TV in the near future and are also interested in getting Playstation VR, then skip the slim and get the pro. For potentially better graphics, VR and twice the internal storage space, I feel it's worth the extra $100 for a better future experience. The only thing I wasn't aware of was that now in order to play any games online, you NEED to purchase a Playstation Plus account, which was not needed for PS3, so I'm hoping the benefit of $60 for a year subscription is worth it in the long run. The only other WARNING I will give is that if you're like me and have an HD 1080p television (NOT 4K) once you plug the system in, you will most likely hear sound, but see nothing on the screen. You'll need to make sure the machine is off, with the controller unplugged, and turn on the system in safe mode by holding the power button and waiting to hear it beep a second time. You will be prompted to plug in the controller then a screen comes up to change some display settings, change the HDCP setting to 1.4 support only, then restart the system and you should be all set. I nearly returned the unit because I thought it wouldn't work with my TV...needless to say it does, but not right out of the box. Still tinkering with settings, but overall, I'm happy that I purchased the pro, because once I crack and get that 4K TV, it'll be like a second gift I've already paid for.

First Time On PS4
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Havnt touched a PS in a long time since I had a ps2. I couldnt figure out if I should of gotten the PS4 Slim (2016) or the Pro (2016). So far I'm happy with the Pro. I havnt been able to play Pro version games yet on it but so far I have played Shadow of Morador and The Witcher III and they look pretty sweet on the pro. I have played Shadow of Morador on PC and its on par with it in graphics -NIGHT WALKERRRR- I love that I can swith really quick from the game to live tv like the Playstation Vue. Its really awesome and very affordable for the shows I love to watch which is mainly spots and nat geo and time to time local news. It also have other apps that I havnt downloaded much. Only have spotify, a few demo games, and The Vue. But it runs pretty fast. Even when you put the console to sleep mode it turns on quick and loads your previous pause game fast as if you never stopped playing. Cant do that with a PC??? Overall the price is good and well worth the extra $100 seeing that this is the future of gaming consoles. And yes I have a 4k TV and to be honest even in 4k compared to 1080p the game still looks the same to me. Maybe till I start playing 4k Enhanced game maybe I'll come back and say I noticed a difference.

It’s hard to beat
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my daughter not myself, the X-box x was out at the same time. However I wanted her to have VR, I’ve had a PlayStation since the first. I currently have had the 3 since the first week it came out. PlayStations last forever if taken care of. You can buy this and hold your head high knowing you bought a quality product.

Exclusives
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been an Xbox guy for years... Ps2 was the last playstation I owned... Honest opinion.... UI is garbage, store is too... Controller is still cramp inducing.... Graphics are great and exclusives warrant the need for it... But a week into it and I still use my X more....

The Pro improves an already solid platform.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.let me start by saying the Pro is awesome and the games that take advantage of it look gorgeous and some have higher frame rates which make them run silky smooth. With that being said you really need the right tv to take advantage of it completely. I have the Samsung 65KS8000 and the 4K resolution is amazing and the HDR(High Dynamic Range) looks breathtaking. I thought Uncharted 4 was beautiful before but on the Pro it is a sight to behold. Of course if your 4K tv doesn't support HDR you want see the boost in colors but you will benefit from the resolution bump. Even those with a 1080P HD tv will notice an improvement, not as substantial but improvements nonetheless. Sony has the best exclusives in my opinion and if you don't already have a PS4 then this is a no brainer. If you do own a PS4 and have the extra cash, then why not get the most powerful console(that's out RIGHT now) and enjoy the very best gaming has to offer.

Nice step up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the pro model as a step up from my day one PS4. Although my original PS4 was working ok I felt I needed the extra space on the hard drive. I also plan on purchasing a 4K tv in the near future I would go ahead with the up grade now. I think I notice things move a little smoother than on the older unit. Not a huge difference but just enough to notice. I also like the sleeker look and I'm glad the piano black section is gone. Overall I'm very pleased with the upgrade.
