First off, you have to keep in mind that it's a little trinket that throws up a light show, and that's all. That said, it really does a neat job of putting a swirling pattern on the ceiling, putting out way more light than you'd expect for something so small. I've run mine for hours and it works great. One thing to keep min mind is that it's powered by your phone (or other Lightning connector device), and it drains that relatively quickly. You can't likely expect to get more than two or three hours of light out of it before you run out of power. It doesn't pulse with the music or anything like that, but for what it is, it does a good job

It’s a portable party anywhere you go, lights up a room

I have bought two of these as little grab bag gifts. The first one worked well. On one click, the lights turned on and on two clicks, it spun. It worked with my phone (I phone 7) and the recipient’s phone (not sure what generation). The second time, when the recipient opened it, it would not work with their phone (I believe it was an iPhone 8Plus or other form of 8). When I tried it on my phone, the colored lights turned on, but I couldn’t get it to spin. My phone had less charge, so that was not the problem. When plugged into the recipient’s phone only one red light would turn on inside. Definitely a hit or miss- the first one was great, second not at all.

I bought this for a white elephant gift and everyone thought it was cool. Young and old all enjoyed it. It really can light up a lot for how small it is. Impromptu dance parties, ANYWHERE!

Surprised me! It's so tiny but so much light and fun came from it! I got it on a whim and I'm glad i did! Good gift or just a fun thing to have. Mini party with it!

This is a neat little gadget. It is amazing how much light it gives. We had a different disco ball and returned it after we saw what this one does. The only problem is that it only works when plugged in to IPhone. I guess I shouldn't be using the phone any way if I am partying.

Fun and more effective than I expected. Bought one of these to counter the “parties” my boss throws (read all-hands-on-deck projects). I am now asked to bring the disco ball to various meetings. It’s best in low light situations (i.e. turn off the lights in the room). When I had to buy a gift for the Yankee Swap this year I chose one of these - and had several people swapping for it ;)

its funny now this works, the only issue that I could see is that it doesnt work for very long. You wont be holding any raves with your friends with this, but its cool for effect and surprise.

Absolutely worth the $20.00 for this portable egg sized colored disco light, that connects to your iphone. You can make it strobe or stationary. Projects an impressive amount of light and area it covers.

I purchased this for a grandchild...and I went back and bought another for myself. It is really pretty cool that you can light up the whole room with such a small device...Love it!

I was surprised at how bright this was. It lit up the room and produced a great effect. The fact that it also spins is a bonus too.

This is a totally frivolous purchase that no one needs, but it is a hit in our household. In the dark it is more powerful than I thought it would be, so party on everybody.

My daughter has been begging me for a real disco ball and I found this! It plugs into her IPhone and she loves it. It turns her room into a pretend nightclub!

This is a no brainer - everyone who sees this thing wants one of their own. It is super bright and colorful and truly gets people excited. We took it trick or treating in our busy neighborhood and had people dancing in the street. We have kids and it has paid for itself many times over - a great little gadget for your phone!

The item is useful and easy to carry and can be used anywhere but seemed a bit too expensive

This was an impulse buy. I am happy with it. I use it in my office at work after hours. lol
