    caught on sale. my computer was rebooting randomly and freezing up ... traced it to one bad 8gb dimm. decided to just buy a 16 gb since that was cheaper than 2 8gb dimms. so now i get more ram and no more freezing/rebooting errors. yes I do lose maybe 8-10% speed since I am not dual channeled but I weighed the difference and decided just to get a 16gb. make sure to get the same rated speed if you are replacing...using different speed ddr4 laptop dimm may (and usually does) cause the computer not to boot. especially if you have partial ram soldered onboard and one slot to upgrade.

    Great product and works just as it should. Word of advice...Make sure you confirm via the manual or by physically opening the laptop to make sure its even possible to upgrade the RAM. Believe it or not, but a $2400 Alienware gaming laptop 17" M17 with RTX-2070 Super and was not able to upgrade RAM because the 16gb stick was permanently installed and unable to be upgraded...wish i knew before i bought it. Ive never heard of that before!

    Putting 2 of these in my old laptop was like dropping a Hemi in a minivan. It ain’t optimal but she goes!! Ez install, just look it up on YouTube.
