    So with me getting into the desktop computer game ai bought mine already pre-assembled in 2015. As time went I realized I had an extra slot on my motherboard. Come to find out it was for an M2 memory. I would say that it has been one of my best upgrades next to my GPU. I highly recommend this product as it has added new life and incredible speed to my desktop PC.

    I have put this in my son's gaming PC. It is at least 10 times faster than the spinner drive he used to use. I am not even exaggerating. I was a little worried about heat since it sits near his processor. He has used it for at least a month now with no problems.

    I really didn't know that much about ssd drives, or m.2 ssd drives for that matter, but the geek squad answered all my questions, about switching over. The speeds are blazing fast compared to what initially came with the laptop (Asus - ROG GL502VT 15.6" Laptop). Very satisfied with this purchase!

    If your motherboard has a M.2 slot that's truly PCIe and not SATA then you'll reap the benefits of the blazing fast transfer rates of this NVMe drive.

    I bought this based on the review at thessdreview.com, which reported stellar speeds. I tried to duplicate them but got nowhere close on 4k random read/write. I tried another drive thinking perhaps the first was a dud, but got the same results. Returned.
