Sped up my system a little bit. Added 4 more gigs and I will say sometimes small things make a big difference. Easy install as long as you know what your doing. Works well with my 2015 asus

Software on laptop was lagging, increased the RAM. Easy to install. It did the job. No more lag, especially when running multiple applications. Outstanding!

We have a 4 year old hp laptop that still had the original 4GB of RAM. With all the use at home these past months, the system and laptop were acting erratically. Adding this extra memory 'calmed' the system and there is much less delay and waiting for the laptop to catch up. We went from 4GB to 12GB, which made a big stability improvement. Installation was difficult to reach into the hp case (which is a hp design problem, and not a memory problem) to find the spare slot, but with patience (and making a small crack in the CD drive) the memory popped right in, and works fine. I have added memory in the past--purchasing chip brands I have heard of, and PNY has worked fine for me. Bottom line is DDR3 memory is a commodity business, and this worked fine, as expected.

Doubled my laptop's RAM with this upgrade and everything is fast now, almost instantaneous. This was a very affordable product that made a huge difference.

I got a new laptop at a great price and then the Geek Squad recommend this memory to double the Laptop's stock memory. Good call. Install went great and my computer is humming along at a brisk pace.

My laptop was sluggish and then I realized it only have 4 GB of ram. This PNY module boosted it up to 12 GB and now it runs like new again. I should have bought this / upgraded long ago. Best Buy curbside delivery was phenomenal. Totally contactless, loved it! I just held my phone up to the window and opened my trunk, and the Best Buy associate read the pick up code and put it in my trunk. Awesome! Best Buy is excellent! And this memory item was in stock for same day pickup! Couldn't ask for anything better.

I went into Best Buy to buy RAM for an older Dell laptop that I bought online. I actually went in to buy a different brand, but this one was quite a bit more affordable. Asked a salesperson there what the difference was. He looked them both over and we couldn't find any difference whatsoever. Told me if I had issues with it or if it didn't work, I could always bring it back. This was an awesome purchase. Really sped up the Dell and now works like a nearly new computer. Best part: it was in stock and could go and get it right away. I didn't have to wait for an online company to send it to me. Great product; excellent service at Ames Best Buy.

I was a little hesitant to buy this for a MacBook Pro because there are other SODIMMS specifically sold as "for Apple." Since this item was on sale and the specs were correct, I bought it anyway. Installation only took 5 minutes. Works great, and it improved the performance notably when I need to have several applications running at the same time.

I needed 8gb ram to upgrade my laptop. This fits my needs. Worked perfectly. Good speed and no problems. I recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade laptop.

I purchased a high end gaming computer after my previous was no longer sufficient. The system lagged & became unstable. Taking exams for college felt like a gamble due to it no longer being reliable & glitching out. After upgrading the Hard Disk Drive (HDD) with a Solid State Drive (SSD) it was much better. However I did not have time to continue to upgrade in order for it to keep up with my demands. It ended up going to my daughter for her junior high school work & light gaming but once again became very laggy. I ending up buying her a new laptop of her own & decided to upgrade the RAM after checking its performance during the winter break. It seemed like if I upgraded the 4GB of RAM to at least 8 Gigs it would work for my son to use now that he is also going to junior high. The laptop has 2 slots so I replaced the original 4GB RAM stick with this 8GB & it made a HUGE difference. The processor is older but now that it had an upgraded SSD & RAM it was actually useable again. After testing it out for about a week I decided to install the original 4GB stick in the second unused slot & increased the overall RAM from 8GB to 12GB all for $40. I know you’re suppose to upgrade with the same brand & size (memory) in pairs but after running it with the 8 & 4 combo it seemed perfectly fine. If it caused performance issues I was going to remove the 4GB & buy another PNY 8GB RAM stick for an overall 16GB of RAM. For now, it’s worked out fine. My son’s used it for school work (full Microsoft Office Professional Software is installed) and even light gaming like ROBLOX & Minecraft. Fortnite needs a more powerful graphics card but he can use his PS4/keyboard & mouse set up for that. Overall, it’s allowed for each of us to have a working computer for school work & even leisure so I’m pretty happy with the $40 upgrade!

I install to aASUS G74 Gaming Laptop, and goes smoothly, fast, also for doing multiple things at a time, helps computer to run faster. You can do it yourself! I installed and it was plug and play.

Just upgraded my aunt's Asus VivoPC VM42 and really happy with the results. I've actually never purchased PNY ram and always go online but with everything going on Best Buy had a great price and it was ready for pickup within an hour. Only issue is I wish they had 4 gb in stock since now the machine has 12 gb and it's overkill, Anyways it worked great, showed up in the system properties and bios and made the machine a lot quicker.

I bought this RAM for expanding memory in 2015 Dell Inspiron 5558 from 8GB to 12GB. I was pretty satified with the product as I sae significant improvements and could use 4 monitor setup without any hassle. I would recommend it if someone wants to imporove Win10 performance and unwilling to spend on a new laptop.

My Lenovo Yoga is still a great laptop with modern features, but was a bit slow. It came with only 4GB of RAM, so I decided an upgrade was needed. This PNY memory was the perfect solution. Upgrading to 8GB made a huge difference in performance running Windows 10. The computer boots faster, apps load faster and everything is just snappier. This memory upgrade has extended the life of my laptop.

Replaced original single slot 4GB on Dell Inspiron 15 3531 with this 8GB DDR3L PC3L-12800 (1600MHz) SODIMM memory in the 204-pin form. Noticeable boost in performance on older display shared memory unit. My laptop performance still limited by wifi card and slow HD. SSD likely to provide more boost to this vintage system, but I still consider 6GB minimum for smooth performance on current WIN 10 systems.

The Asus X751LAV comes with 4gb of built in ram with one dimm slot. I wanted to get it up to the 12gb max. So I went with this PNY 8gb ram. At the time Amazon had it for $35.99 so I had it price matched at the customer service desk. Came home and installed it. And it worked right away showing 12gb of Ram. This along with the SSD I bought has supercharged my laptop. From powered off it completely logs in in about 15-20 seconds. And never gets hung up no matter what I am doing. Great addition to my laptop.
