  • Totally Useless!

    I inserted this USB drive in 3 Windows XP PCs, 1 Windows 7 PC, and one Windows XP laptop, and not one recognized it. All PCs were up to date with drivers and updates. I tried to resolve the issue with PNY Support, but all they could say was that I should "Unplug all other USB devices and then insert it." Imagine doing that with an under the desk PC with USB ports in the rear? I cannot get my money back as I do not find my receipt, but I will not buy another PNY device for a very, very long time. I am extremely disappointed (with the manufacturer, not with Best Buy)!

    This product fails to record files larger than about 100 mb which makes it pretty much useless. A review of the web indicates that many people are having similar problems so this is not an isolated case.

    The customer service of PNY is dreadful!. To get the deviced fixed I had to pay shipping costs and custom fees (I live abroad). PNY said they would refund custom fees but they didnt. I ended up paying US$170 for an 8gb flash drive.

    I had this for about two weeks and it failed. Can not be identified on any machine (windows or Mac). I got it on sale, but sale price on a non-functioning drive is no great deal.
