This 128GB Is Defective
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered this 128GB USB Thumb drive on the day before Black Friday and cost $49.99. Good deal. But the problem is the drive only allowed me to store up to 32GB data. Reached to 32GB, the drive locked up, couldn't read, couldn't add, couldn't delete. Both Mac and Windows claimed this drive was locked! Reformatted the drive so many times with NTFS, exFAT, FAT32 or Mac and even partitioned in 4 drives, same problem - once reached to 32GB, drive locked up. Thanks God I found out this before 30 days money back, called customer service. Since Bestbuy didn't have this drive in stock, no replacement. My options were either contact PNY or get refund. I selected get refund. But I lost this Black Friday deal. ** Highly recommend to test the large capacity USB Thumb drive after purchase. Too late to find out, you wont be able to get refund. If I didn't find out, I would pay $50 for a 32GB USB thumb drive!
