My new motherboard had openings for this type of storage but I was apprehensive at first and steup my system with SSD drives. After getting everthing set up and running on the SSD drives I decided to try out the new drive. Brought this one, installed it and loaded the O.S. It works perfectly and I haven't had one problem. Bonus, these drives have much faster responce time than even the SSD drives.
