Great little SSD

If you are still using a spinning disk in your laptop, you owe it to yourself to consider an SSD. Not only does it load your operating system faster but programs and files are much smoother. 120gb is a reasonable size if you are not storing large volumes of data. I have 4 laptops running 120-128gb SSDs with no problems. My more demanding users have 480-512gb SSDs installed and are very happy. There are bigger but the cost goes up fast.

I want it free but discovered on President's day ssd were cheaper as it got. This ssd loads fast compare to my old spin drive in my current rig. Something about 2008 and still running. I got to Ubuntu just by putting a pair of socks on in the morning more or less. I wish it had more gb. I would recommend be cause Im not an expert so I don't know if it the price drop mean TLC or mlc. Yes. Buy it.

As Expected

I installed it in an Aspire One (Celeron) running Mint Linux. Off to Login screen is about 10 seconds. Similar to other SSD products in same style application with Linux. Note: Windows will not boot that fast. Anyway, this product runs as expected.

Great value and works great

The trick to upgrading your system from HDD to SSD is backing up you system. Most manufacturers provide utilities to create the ISO/backup for that system so read up. Cheers!

Replace hard drive in my old laptop

The product works great and the speed is definitely faster. I have plenty of tablets and a computer it was nice to save this one. Thanks to your staff for recommending it.

Performs As Expected-Nice Upgrade for Older System
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cloned win 7 64-bit system on this ssd(after clean OS install). Upgraded from XP and/or Vista 32-bit systems. The "older" systems had sata 2 motherboards so this sata 3 device with slower read/write speeds than the highend ssd's (which cost a ton more) achieves the expected sata 2 speeds(i.e. 250Mb read/writes). Boot time 20 sec., virus & malwarebytes scans 3X faster. Nice upgrade to 5-7 year old system.
