I install this in a 3 year old Dell Desktop and what a difference it made, It nows runs 3 times faster and with no more problems when loading programs. Now my wife is happy with her computer, its like new again :-) Actually its better than when it was new.

This drive is priced very competitively and has comparable speeds to the higher end SATA Samsung drives. Real world performance difference between this and more expensive SATA drives is negligible.

I added to my 1 TB drive that came with my HP desktop, this pony 480GB drive. It came with software so I could copy the operating system and make it my startup drive. Worked flawlessly and has been going strong for the past 2 months. Highly recommended.

This drive is tried and true, It's a great performer and of the 20+ I have purchased for myself and friends. I have no 0 have any issues! Economy is not usually synonymous with quality. This PNY drive is economical and made with quality in mind.

This was so easy! I bought this drive to transfer my old PC's hard drive over to this SSD. It was seriously so simple. I think it took 3 or 4 clicks of the mouse. I would highly recommend. The included software is a breeze. It cloned my drive with ease.

I didn't want to pony up the extra money for a Samsung Evo 850 and after some research this seemed like a great second option. The speeds are good and the process to move data from your hard drive to the SSD was a breeze. After the transfer you will notice a massive decrease in load and boot times. If I could go back and do it again I would have probably when the Samsung route but this thing isn't too bad.

Purchased to replace corrupted HDD in my Toshiba Satellite Laptop l675. Significantly improved the performance...noticeable immediately upon starting laptop up for first time after the installation of this SSD. Great value for the money.

We've had several mechanical hard drives burn up from constant use in our five-camera security system. This time we purchased the PNY Solid State Drive, and expect the drive to outlast the mechanical drives by several generations, if not more.

I had a Sandisk SSD fail on a customer's pc so I needed a quick replacement. This was a well reviewed drive and the price was excellent. I replaced the Sandisk, restored the drive from our backup device and it's been doing great ever since.

I ressurected a 12 year old Dell laptop with this drive. PNY is the king of flash drives and memory. I wouldn't recommend anything else. Have an old laptop? Stick one of these puppies in there and get another 5 years out of it!

This is the secound PNY 480gb SSD I have bought. It works perfectly and is easiy to work with. I have cloned my computers hard drive with free online software called EaseUS backup on my Windows 10 machine. I would buy this again and again.

I got this hard drive to replaced one that died. I had talked to others about the speed of the solid state and decided to purchase it. Wow, were they right!. My disk drive writes and read are extremely fast now. I'm very pleased.

CS1311 is fast quiet and reliable. Also gives off much less heat than standard Hdd

Good basic SSD that works well. Dropped into a refurbished Core i5 desktop that was turned into an office server. Shared apps are nice and fast. Does not come with any software, but most of the time you don't need it anyway.

This is a great basic boot drive. The performance is much better than a mechanical drive, but not as good as a higher tier drive, but that is to be expected at this price point. I will say, however, that is would be nice if all SSD manufacturers include a housing adapter. Overall, it is a good basic drive.
