Works great. Really fast. Extended the life of my computer when upgrade fone for Windows 11.

I purchased this for a friend's laptop, that had a mechanical hard drive. He was very pleased. His laptop starts up in 1/3 the time, and shuts down far faster, too. All of his apps start far faster, too. Virtually no waiting. So for a general purpose OS drive, it is excellent. Please note that we did not test any large file copies. Nearly all SSDs slow down to as much as 1/10th their advertised write speed, after continuously writing several GB of data, without rest. It might be after 10 GB, or 25 GB, etc. All SSDs have their own amount of "cache" (faster NAND cells), and when the SSD fills those faster NAND cells, the SSD has to write directly to the slower NAND cells, that usually make up approximately 95% of the drive. So I have no information on how this SSD handles large writing jobs. But for general use, as an OS drive, it is zippy. My friend has been using it for 1 week.

High quality Looks great Runs great If you are looking for a good SSD for a Good price. Then you came to the right place. Runs windows great. Don't know about Linux. If you're wondering if it will run good on Linux sorry I can't help with that. Also if your computer gets slow after a few months of use for windows. It's not the SSD its windows. I recommend this SSD so far. I have been using the SSD for a little while. 9/10 great product so far.

After dealing with loading times in minutes, the hard drive on my HP laptop was replaced with a PNY SSD. My computer boots up in seconds now. Customer service could not have been better. Price was reasonable and done in less time than estimated. I'm enjoying my computer for the first time since I purchased it.

I'll give you 4 stars because I just installed in a brand new setup and at my first check disk it found some bad sectors, besides that, it's a good drive, quite fast and the capacity of it just fulfill my needs!

I picked up two of these on sale to replace a couple of older HDDs. The transfer speed is a major improvement over the HDD. At the price, I recommend it. An affordable way to upgrade older drives/improve storage.

I've only recently begun using some PNY drives. I've been familiar with the brand for years, but just tried their SSD's. They drew me in with a nice price, and I believe they'll keep me with performance - because so far, I'm impressed. As a PC tech, I've used several since purchasing the first here, and I'm having great luck with them. If the price stays nice, and I don't see breakdowns, these will continue to be my go-to SSD's.

The Price and convivence of this installation and purchase made it ideal for quick business applications when additional space is needed.

It's crazy how much faster this SSD drive is compared to the original HDD drive. This is the second PNY SSD drive I've purchased and couldn't be happier. The process of upgrading was relatively easy, but took many hours. Here's the steps I took: - Downloaded free cloning software - Cloned the old HDD drive to this new SSD - Removed the old HDD drive from my laptop and replaced with the new SSD - Re-installed windows (chose option to keep my data) - Re-installed programs I wanted/needed All the time was worth it. The laptop is over 4 years old, but it works BETTER than new now. I can now boot up in about 11 seconds - it's so fast.

Quick and easy to install, no issues. Drive seems fast enough for me and the price was good. It doesn’t include any hardware so you’ll need your own, but that wasn’t an issue for me

This PNY SSD drive performance is great it's light compact compared to the western digital I replaced it with, it's silent runs faster was ez to format and install I highly recommend it for others.

I have an older desktop (8 or 9 yrs old) and it was starting to run very slowly even after it was serviced by Geek Squad. When I had a different problem and took it in again, the Geek Squad person said that this part would help btw now and when I would have to buy another computer to help it run faster, and lo and behold, it's working super well now. I recently upgraded my system with the PNY CS900 1TB Internal SSD, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! This SSD provides an impressive speed boost compared to traditional hard drives, significantly improving boot times, file transfers, and overall system responsiveness.

Used this to replace a hard drive in a friend's laptop. The old hard drive had become so slow that it made the computer almost unusable (Took 2-3 minutes to boot, opening programs like Matlab took 5+ minutes). Since this was the same capacity as his old hard drive i was able to simply clone the drive then physically swap it with this one and it was up and running like a whole new machine. This won't be the fastest SSD out there but it is a great option to breathe new life into any machine that's still using a hard drive.

Quick and easy to install, made my computer so much fast

Using the pair in a basic Windows 11 server. They are set up in RAID 1 configuration and are getting the job done. The computer also has a solid state drive for the OS, so I now have a solid state server. I am now setting up an external drive for backup. So far so good!
