As a volunteer for my local Public radio station I have to transport large files between Mac to edit on PC. Before purchasing this drive it might take up to to 4 1/2 hours to load files to a thumb drive. With this drive I find that the same file will load in about 6 minutes. The drive comes formatted as Xfat that is compatible on both platforms with current OS. I found that it is not compatible with some older systems like Windows XP without reformatting, but very few examples are still in use. This tiny drive, except for the USB cord, will easily fit into the watch pocket of your favorite jeans but can transport tons of data between point A to B, and/or PC to Mac.

Fast and small; would have preferred USB-C but works well as small external USB drive. Format it exFat and use it on your Mac, Linux, and Windows system easily

nice credit card size SSD external disk. easy to use and very fast. I used it to move files rom one computer to another. worked excellently

This is a great small external solid state drive. It takes up very little room and processes quickly.

Small SSD, comes with USB cable, once connected to Windows 10 it recognizes it automatically, no drivers needed. Material quality is not so solid as aluminum, it's cheap plastic. Data speed transfers fast enough, but not as fast as an internal drive, though. When transferring a large amount of data at once the drive gets very hot, hot enough that I couldn't hold it my hands.

I bought this to create a total separate boot drive for my Mac. Even booting from USB, computer runs super fast and boot times are only slightly slower than the built in 512GB SSD that came with the Mac. Way better than a USB Flash drive and less money. Having a separate boot drive lets me keep things totally differentiated, highly recommended!

I wish I had know, maybe I should have read, but because it's an SSD, I didn't think to find out that using it to add a OS recovery would not work because the device can not be encrypted. Shouldn't all backup drives have encryption.

It's fantastic. It downloads data very fast & is compact.

It was as easy as installing any sata device. Small foot print and low power consumption make this perfect for the C: disk in the plex server I'm building. AMD FX8320E eight core, 4.0 ghz, 12gb memory, additional sata drives as needed. Ubuntu 16.04.
