Compared to the other third party 5080s, this card from PNY was much better value for equivalent performance. The card stays cool and quiet, typically under 70C under any gaming loads. I also like that the I/O bracket is 3 slots, compared to many other more expensive cards that are only 2 slots. This means that the card is very sturdy and has almost no GPU sag even without the use of a GPU support brace. And the best part, this card has absolutely no coil whine! I'm not sure if it's something PNY did to improve this or if I got lucky, but this is the quietest card in that regard I have ever had.
My two complaints with the card are relatively minor, but both prevent this card from being truly excellent. The first is that the fans have some bearing noise at low speeds which is annoying. This sounds like a faint ticking noise that is able to be heard when my computer is idling. This problem was reduced by setting a fan curve where the GPU fans are off at idle and it is less obvious at the higher fan speeds required while gaming.
The second problem is the requirement to use PNY's software to control the ARGB lighting. It is very clunky, user unfriendly, and has a limited number of lighting presets. This is especially disappointing because this card has lighting zones on its face, its side, and its back, so I really wish there was a better way to control all of it. I typically use SignalRGB to control all of my lighting, but this card is not compatible which is a shame.
Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. I think that the card looks good but is overall less well built than options from other brands like MSI, Asus, or Gigabyte. However, for the price of only $200 above the Founder's Edition at the time of purchase, the value is outstanding. You get a quiet card under load that performs great and has some headroom to overclock. If PNY could fix their software and improve the fans that they use, this would be a no brainer of an option.

This is my first time buying a PNY card and definitely won't be my last. It stays very cool while gaming. I haven't seen it go over 60c in game yet and the card is extremely quiet. For reference I have 2x Noctua NF-A12x25, 2x BeQuiet! Silent Wings 4 140mm, and three Phanteks T30 fans with custom fan curve set to 1000rpm max and I can't hear the GPU fans at all. It's not as big as other 5080s in the market which makes this a nice option for small form factor PCs. At $1300 it's one of the cheapest AIB 5080s you can buy.

Great card. Black screen problem solved DIY!

Performance is great (thermal and noise) and so is the look. However there was a problem.
Card would throw a black screen at random first (maybe 14 days in). Then would boot up fine, but 10-20 min same. Then wouldn't even boot up. So we put 3080 back in all is fine stress testing for 1hr. Now we know it's the 5080. We put it back in (using supplied power adapter to 3 8-pin pcie power cables. I made sure 12pin is plugged all the way. Card boots up. All is good stress testing open case for 1hr. No black screen. My son tries to tuck the adapter wires so they bend down(normal cable management) and when he does that card goes black screen. So we figured card goes black screen when there is downward pressure on 12pin (May also soften up with heat a bit while in use). Since there is no elegant way to rout up or to right (which can cause downward pressure too). We decided to add small aluminum shelf that supports 12pin plug. The shelf is sitting flat even with heat sink on right and has small leg raised over heat sink on left which is lower. Never black screened again. Great connector NVIDIA! We really needed that connector! Anyway... We knew we won't get any card that cheap again so we went with DIY fix. Shelf can be taken out any time if there is better solution. Didn't have to mod card in any way either.

I wish it were closer to MSRP Price for 5080's but must admit the RGB looks great (and im not even a fan of RGB). Loving the card so far. Runs very cool at load. Mostly quiet - however I do hear what i think are the fans (when in a game) and not coil whine. Its not super noticeable though. Was Happy to support an American company who actually offers cards at MSRP.

PNY has has replaced what I lost since EVGA does not make GPUs anymore. This card performs great, at high clocks, cool, and quite. Seems to use a reference PCB, but with a very robust heatsink. Structully holds its weight very well without additional help. Shroud feels thin and flimsy, but once installed I don't notice it.

Very impressed so far. I use this card with the 45" LG OLED 5K/2K curved monitor and I love the combination. Looks great in the system. Good value compared to other 5080 cards. This is my first experience with the PNY brand. Time will tell, but so far I am happy with my purchase...especially with Best Buy price matching.

Pricey card, but figured it was time to upgrade from my 3070 TI. Super easy install, EXCEPT that I didn’t have the right power cable for it. After purchasing the $20 12VHPWR cable separately and plugging that in, it worked great! Only have played Cyberpunk 2077 with it so far, but wow, what a change from what the game looked like before and at an average of 120fps. I hope to use it soon for some local AI processing as well. And thankfully my 850w power supply was more than sufficient.

I bought the PNY 5080 to replace my EVGA XC3 3070ti because I wanted better raytracing and higher-res gaming while maintaining decent FPS. Overall I'm quite impressed. It is quite a bit bigger than the EVGA 3070ti, but less premium in terms of materials. There's more plastic in general. I have it mounted regularly (i.e. horizontally) and the RGB arrow at the back of the card is a unique design which I like. I think there are better looking cards out there but this isn't a bad option by any means. Given its current price (I was "lucky enough" to purchase this right before the price hike, but still at $200 more than the reference Founders Edition price) the aesthetics get a passing grade. As other reviewers have mentioned, the card does not sag which is quite a feat given its size. It runs very quiet even under load. I haven't bothered messing with overclocking and undervolting yet but so far I'm quite happy with the performance.

This card has been great. Quiet and handles everything I throw at it at 4k very well. I finally upgraded from my 1080 that I had had for years and hope this one lasts as long. It seems built very well as PNY seems known for.

It's a good GPU. My friend wanted to build a PC so I got another one if these. No issues or complaints. It is a big one so make sure you have a case that can accommodate it. Shout-out to Clara for price matching Amazon.

Very beautiful card! Definitely the top 3 best looking RTX 50 cards out there. Too bad PNY released their RTX 50 cards much later than other brands. About 2 weeks after Jan 30th launch date and they only dropped small quantities. I'm glad I got it at MSRP price. If you can get this particular card, get it! Especially at MSRP price. The cooling fans are also MUCH better than FE card. And also so much better than MSI Ventus!
