I had gotten a best buy deal on an Asus TUF gaming laptop that only came with 8gb of ram, but had an extra slot to add more. So I got this ram stick and finally just got around to putting it in. WOW what a difference. I didn't think it would make this much difference, but everything is noticeably quicker! To install it, I used a toolkit for "smartphones and small electronics" that comes with a tiny screwdriver and a plastic lever type thing to pop the backing off the laptop. So I just turned the computer off, turned it over, unscrewed all the little screws, popped the back cover off, and then unscrewed the battery as well but I don't think that ended up being necessary. I had to pull up a little flap to find the empty ram slot. I aligned the gold parts and pressed it in, and down. It popped right into the braces. I replaced the cover and turned the computer on and it immediately was faster. I checked in windows and it does now say 16gb ram instead of the old 8gb. There is nothing else you have to do besides pop it in.

Great working, affordable ddr4 ram that just slots into pretty much any fitting. The self tuning timings help me test multiple Laptops from amd to intel. 2666mts to 3200 mts. Must buy!

RAM upgrade for my HP Victus gaming laptop came in really handy to be able to play some high graphic demanding games. PNY came rated as a great compatible chip for my device which is why I purchased. The reviews also helped in making my decision.

Works great. Significantly better performance with a little extra RAM in my cheap laptop. Only had 1 GB “available” RAM so was getting bottlenecked. Turning my OEM installed 4GB into 8GB led to noticeable performance boosts with the software I started running.

I bought this device to enhance my laptop's performance as suggested by a friend who is a computer engineer and it sure made a difference I thought it was gonna be expensive but blew my mind when I went to the cash register and with tax included I paid less than 21 bucks !!!

Picked this up to match the other 8GB (Samsung) stick in the laptop I recently got and it worked perfectly! I don't think I've had any issues in the last month that would be related to compatibility. My only regret is not option for going with 2x 16GB sticks instead as the prices at the time weren't that much more.

My father purchased a MSI laptop for a great deal, but this laptop only had 8gb ram. I purchased this as a gift to expand his RAM to a more modem standard. It was plug and play and has been working great for him. I got this on sale so it was incredible value!

Always been a fan of PNY products but my exposure was mostly with thumb drives (like the PNY that went through the wash and dryer TWICE and still worked) and also SSDs. Like the price of this one so gave it a try - not disappointed - use it in a Proxmox machine daily

Purchased this to upgrade my Dell Inspiron 7425 to 16 GB RAM. The laptop runs this at the rated 3200 MHz, and was happy to see that. Laptop runs much better than before having the additional RAM, as it multitasks without issue having numerous tabs running live sports, etc along with office work at the same time.

Great add on if you run multiple task. Added this to an HP x360 due to using about 90% of my memory so I figured why not buy another 8gb stick and get the added benefit of dual channel. Would recommend if you are looking for a basic ddr4 3200mhz ram stick without dealing with heatsink case compatibility.

Worked with my already installed 8gb RAM, much cheaper than getting a whole 16GB stick but still ended up with 16 GB RAM Super easy to install

This little RAM card did its job. It was easy to install, and it was on sale! Mom is happy that her laptop is running faster now. And I didn't break anything on my first time opening the back of a computer.

Easy Installation and works perfectly and i mean absolutely no one bothered me at all even when i was ready to purchase it i got the privilege to stand in this establishment for an undocumented amount of time before even being able to touch the box (In locked glass case) but i cant blame the item for its keepers practices hopefully my pickup tomorrow goes smoothly

Installed this upgraded RAM to my old Lenovo computer, and while 8GB isn't considered a lot, it was the max this computer can handle but it certainly made a huge difference in performance.

Solid RAM upgrade. Picked up a Dell Latitude 5411 with 16GB RAM (1 x 16GB, 2nd SO-DIMM slot empty) and this bumped it up to 24GB. Perfect for light multimedia such as Photoshop & Premiere Pro and 50 Chrome tabs for work. Buy it!
