    2x4GB is, in the DIY PC building community, 2-4GB stick of RAM. That is to say two separate stick of 4GB. This allows for dual channel use which dramatically decreases latency. So it is important to use 2 stick when possible. Best Buy has mislabeled this product as 2x4GB, when only one stick of 8GB is present. This has directly lead to me now having to buy this product a second time, or return the item and find a proper 2x4GB kit. I don't need 16GB for this PC. This may have been an honest mistake but it needs to be corrected immediately. I will edit my review when it has been, to reflect that actual value of the product itself.

    Unfortunately this was recommended to me by Best Buy support as a compatible component but it doesn’t work for my system, shipped great though

    I was confused if this is two 4gb memory sticks or one 8gb memory stick. It is one 8GB memory stick. It works well on Dell Inspiron 3910 desktop.

    I recieved one stick of 8GB ram, when I was looking for two sticks of 4GB for dual channel. Luckily the issue got fixed
