I bought this to upgrade a slimline HP tower, and the performance boost has been excellent. Since it's a retail system, I can't speak to the overclockability of the RAM, but it was a great, cost effective upgrade to a slightly older system.

I didn't buy it but My boyfriend did since he's an IT person so I'm guessing it's good.

Good size memory at a good price (on sale). Used it to replace previous memory sticks, however, turned out the mobo was the problem, not the memory. Still, I'd buy again at the same sale price.

I expected this cable to improve my television experience and it has done that.

Not many PC tower ram being sold these days in electronics stores but glad to find a compatible one! Price was right on the money and performance is great, strongly recommend. Had it now for almost a month and no issues.

i was constantly getting the blue screen of death on my PC ever since i upgraded to win10. i thought adding more RAM would help. it didn't :(. however during the times my PC runs fine, i notice things are a lot faster and smoother.

A little more expensive than basic memory, but works fine.

Good memory means two basic things: the chips snap into place, no hassle, and they configure in and perform flawlessly. These chips met the requirements -- they're great!

I needed RAM in a hurry, bestbuy came through unexpectedly with a good price for the older ram model. PNY has been a dependable brand for me and is working well.

Memory is considered gaming memory due to it's speed (1866mhz), however, you must be careful on which motherboards the memory is used as some will not recognize or support this type.

It's RAM and it works. The timings on the Label for it are a bit higher than the actual XMP timings but the real-world difference is so small that it's irrelevant.

We shopped many other stored both online and in person. We found that Best Buy offers this desktop memory at the best price for the size and name brand.

Older computer, but upgraded video card and memory, works great. Price match in store vs. cheaper Best Buy online price (always check!).

Good memory for the price. I used this to bump my Windows 10 machine to 16 GB. Not a gamer, but helped with photo/video/audio editing.

Works as intended. Increased my productivity. Going from the 4GB of memory that I had to this 8GB of memory was a major improvement

I purchased the RAM to upgrade an aging system. BSOD on boot into Windows, so I figured I might as well test it to see if the RAM was bad or another component (again, aging system.) Testing results showed one stick was good, one was bad. One stick did work, so there's your one extra star, but ultimately I returned it. I don't think I'm going to continue to purchase PNY stuff. I'm not a huge fan of low ratings on items that people never get a chance to even test, but I've had several poor experiences with PNY products/support lately, so this one's going up.

The price was to good to pass up. Maxed out my computer and diffently made a difference.
