Walker (Lee Marvin) and Mal Reese (John Vernon) stage a robbery, stealing a bag of cash from some crooks conducting a delivery by helicopter in deserted Alcatraz. Reese double crosses Walker and leaves him for dead, taking off with the cash and Walker's wife. Walker survives, escapes from the island, and comes after Reese, and all the rest of his criminal organization, with the mantra, "I want my $93,000."

If you liked “Prime Cut” I’m thinking this could be a Lee Marvin film for you. The movie commentary was fun to listen to.

This was a good crime movie with Lee Marvin giving a great performance! With some plot twists thrown in this movie is gritty. Angie Dickinson looks fantastic too!

Get ready to root for a hired gun. Based on THE HUNTER, one of the Parker novels by Richard Stark (pen name of author Donald Westlake), later remade as PAYBACK with Mel Gibson, this is the original and a very influential crime classic,, a forerunner of gritty 1970s anti-hero cop movies like the French Connection. The visuals of POINT BLANK under director John Boorman are stunning, and Lee Marvin's inensity sears the screen. Dir. Martin Scorsese of Goodfellas fame has cited this as one of his favorite crime films. Highly recommended.

The movie has its intrigue but the movie nonetheless felt familar to every revenge criminal movie such as 'Deathwish' and 'Dirty Harry.'
Funny to see Los Angeles with little graffiti in the scenes, but the movie is for old movie fans and may not grab much attention. There are some surprises, but the movie stretches longer than needs.
