Ryan Reynolds is great again, but the ending seemed out of place and to nullify the entire movie. I have yet to watch it a 2nd time, but would like to try again just because it's a fun ride hearing his quips.

I took my son and my niece to see this in the movies, they loved it. So we decided to purchase it so they can watch it when ever they want to.

I loved this movie as much as my kids. Its fun for the whole family and family friendly as well. I recommend to Pokemon and non-Pokemon fans.

The steelbook has really nice art with a slick shiny exterior. The movie is really funny and looks incredible in 4K. Overall a great purchase.

Wasn't expecting much when originally saw this movie but it surprised me. Usually Games gone movie don't always translate, this one did though!

If your a Pokémon fan, this movie is a must. They actually did a much better job than I thought they would. I think it's written for the younger generations, but us older folks can enjoy it along with the kids!

I really enjoyed this movie. I was so excited to see all of the Pokémon in the world, and how they were dispersed into every seen. Very cool. The acting was a bit meh, but Ryan Reynolds as Pikachu was amazing!!

Preordered it as soon as the option was available, smooth process picking it up and now get to enjoy one of my favorite movies whenever I can.

Not the reference quality transfer you'd hope for. Id stick with the regular blu ray release on this one, unless its on sale. Movie wise, better than i expected. Reynolds was a big risk, but it pays off.

I loved the Pokémon world and I enjoyed seeing them on screen. I can’t say I love the people story but I truly enjoyed seeing the Pokémon world. Hopefully the second one has more Pokémon action and less people.

It's PokeMon And Ryan Reynolds paired up!!!! It doesn't get much better then that! And the Steelbook Edition comes with a sweet PokeMon Card!

Didn't expect to like it much but it was actually a pretty cute movie. My 12 year old had to have it for his bday when the bluray came out.

Saw it in theaters when it came out and I rent it the other day for my wife to see it .Loved how it looked on the tv so I got physical.

Really Great movie for all ages and definitely for those who are fans of the franchise. The movie itself is very well done and surprising.

You can probably count the amount of game to film adaptations on one hand. Fewer still are those that you could consider to be "good" game to film adaptations. Detective Pikachu it turns out is a pretty enjoyable watch. It has it's tropes sure. But it has tons of heart. Ryan Reynolds plays an excellent Pikachu (who would have thought). It's incredible that they are able to make Pikachu and trainer Tim Goodman feel like they have real chemistry. I remember seeing the promotional materials and finding it odd that Jigglypuff somehow had fur. There is that bit of a disconnect if you have played the games. However, those observations kind of fade into the background because of the world building. They were able to make this feel like a real lived in city where people and pokemon interact with one another. And then there is the fanservice. If your a fan there is a lot to love here. Even if you aren't a fan of Pokemon? This is a great film that the entire family can enjoy. Put on your detective hat and join Pikachu and Tim as this pokemon journey unfolds.

I bought this for my son and my husband on black Friday sale!! We enjoyed this movie and added to my iPad so i can watch it on the go.

Detective Pikachu it's a neat new take on something we all know & love but changes the way we have looked at the pokemon in the past.

Excellent movie for kids and adults of Pokémon. Was shocked my steelbook wasn’t damaged because most of the online orders come in damaged.
