I wanted a blu-ray of this movie but the picture quality is not really an upgrade from the DVD. I haven't double-checked this yet but I think some of the special features are omitted from the blu-ray. I'm still glad I got the blu-ray.

I was expecting this movie to horrible but, it was pretty good. There were some funny parts in this movie and the kids enjoyed it.

Pokémon Detective Pikachu is an interesting take on the world of Pokémon. Kids that are familiar will be instantly engaged, but it’s definitely a darker story than your typical animated Pokémon series. Some younger viewers might find the plot confusing although they may be happy just to see Charidzar. We also find out that global warming is caused by Torterra via a quote by Ryan Reynolds.

If you like Pokémon, this is a great movie to watch. My son loves Pokémon and loves the movie. I thought it was ok for an adult.

Detective Pikachu 4K has a 2160p image with good HDR. The 4K disc has an outstanding Dolby Atmos audio track. As far as special features go there is a Detective Mode (feature-length pop-up track with an introduction by director Rob Letterman) and a 5 part Creating the World of Detective Pikachu as well as a few other extras. Dectective Pikachu is a fun movie that follows the source game material well.

Pokemon fans may be disapointed in the overall movie. Probably why it quickly went to DVD. Cool collectable steelbook though.

I am not a Pokemon player, but I wanted to see this movie because of the laughs and Ryan Reynolds, and it did not disappoint. While a Pokemon fan probably would get more laughs and appreciation from know more about all of the Pokemon, it was still great for non-players like myself.

One of the best video game movies to date. Ryan Reynolds does an excellent job voicing Pikachu, making you laugh throughout the entire movie. Truly incredible to see how lifelike the Pokemon look. I hope this opens up the door to future live action Pokemon movies.

The movie was really good. The digital effects were amazing and it really brought the world of Pokémon to life, imagining how it would be if Pokémon were real. The movie was also surprisingly funny and heartwarming. Also love the fact that this bundle came with the digital copy as well.

I guess I should have thought it might not be good for adults. It's more for the kids. It's definitely a one and done

This is typical cartoon/video game movie where there are surprises at the end of the movie. The movie would be perfect for adults and kids on a rainy night to watch. The movie also comes with a Digital Code so you can redeem it on Vudu, Apple iTunes Store, or Movies anywhere.

I really didn't know what to expect. I guess the presence of Ryan Reynolds in the movie prompted me to buy the Blu-Ray.

This movie is good. It brings the imaginary world of pokemon to life. I would say it is funny and worth buying. It is an anime that us selling quickly because some people are discovering how good the movie is. I liked this movie and look forward for a sequel.

Great movie, for Pokémon fans old and new. My sister hates Pokémon but she loved the movie. My mom was having fun remembering all the Pokémon names that I new when I was a little kid and it just came out in the USA

Probably enjoyable to the general public, but, as a Pokemon fan, I enjoyed it very much, trying to identify the various Pokemon and the fight moves. Ryan Reynolds brought his own brand of humor to the part, and I found that delightful, too.

Fun movie that makes some great use of 3D. So glad to have been able to buy this with an option to view on my 3DTV. Even viewers who are not that familiar with Pokémon can find enough to enjoy here in this mix of animated and live action.

Having never played the game or seen any Pokémon movies or tv shows, I loved it. It had action, comedy especially through Ryan Reynolds pikachu, and family. I can only imagine how much someone who knows so much more about it feels about this movie. It was great

We watched this movie in theatres and I was in love with it since. We recently went to best buy and they had 2 for $20 blue ray movies and we picked this one up. Its such a funny movie & the story line is great also! Plus who doesnt love Pokemon?

I loved this live action movie of Pokemon. Was hoping to see more pokemon moves and effects but having grown up watching pokemon and seeing this real life/cgi version was awesome. Plus it came with a card!
